I complain BAD sometimes but baby… I LOVE THE GAME. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸš›πŸ’Έ The independence, the challenge, the money, being one of the only women around and knowing I can hold my own in an industry like this. πŸ˜ŽπŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ But one of the things I love MOST about trucking is the woman it’s shown me I am. πŸ₯²πŸ’―πŸ™πŸΌ This industry has put me in sooo many situations where I’ve had no choice but to figure it TF out. πŸ˜‚ Whether it’s something going wrong with the truck, backing into some ridiculous spot, navigating somewhere I’ve never been, dealing with unexpected problems or just having to make something happen when the original plan goes completely left. πŸ˜πŸš› And somehow… I ALWAYS figure it out. πŸ’― That’s probably one of the things I’m most proud of about myself. I’m a problem solver. I can think on my feet. I can handle pressure without folding. And every time I make it through another situation I didn’t know how I was going to handle at first, I leave a little more confident in MYSELF. πŸ₯ΉπŸ’ͺ🏽 And doing all of that while still being every bit of the girly girl I’ve always been is a huge part of why I created my brand @prettyasatrucker I wanted women in male-dominated industries to have something that represents ALL of who we are. The hardworking woman AND the pretty girl. The woman who can handle business, solve problems, get to the money and still love everything feminine. 🀭✨ Because one has NEVER canceled out the other. Follow my trucking vlog to get some motivation πŸ˜πŸš›πŸ’ͺ🏼😎 #trucker #femaletrucker #trucking #truckinglife #truckdriver

& I miss Dolly Parton & my grandma πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜©πŸš›πŸ§πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€£ But nawl, being a blue collar babe isn’t for the weak ! Especially jumping back into a 10-speed, stick shift semi-truck driving locally in city traffic πŸ«£πŸš› But somebody’s gotta do it πŸ˜ŽπŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€ Whew, life can change QUICKLY. πŸ₯Ή Just a few months ago I was wondering what was next for me, watching opportunities fall through & having to trust God even when I couldn’t see what He was doing. ✝️ The Lord IS good! Now I’m back behind the wheel, back making money, building my businesses at the same time & trying to balance everything that comes with this new season. πŸ˜ŽπŸš›πŸ’Έ Yes, it can be A LOT πŸ’― But I’d rather be stretched by the opportunities I prayed for than forget how badly I once prayed for things to change. πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ So I’m taking it one day, one shift & making it happen for the future I envision for myself πŸ˜‰πŸš› And I’m wearing my own brand while I do it. πŸ₯ΉπŸ’• I created @prettyasatrucker to celebrate feminine women in male-dominated fields through apparel and accessories & remind us that the careers we’re proud of never have to take away from the women we love being. We else is getting to it, and focused on their lane rn?! πŸ‘€πŸ₯³πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ˜€πŸš›πŸ’ΈπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌ #trucker #femaletrucker #trucking #truckinglife #manual

& YES, I drive stick shift… 10-speed semi-truck to be exact πŸ˜ŽπŸš›πŸ€πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Fun fact: I learned how to drive stick because my very first car was a manual πŸ˜‚ My Freshman year of college I bought my first car CASH, the best car in my budget was an old, nice cute lil 96’ Honda civic, stick shift πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ₯Ή My MOM taught me how to drive it in ONE HOUR, my dad gave me an extra lesson the next day, and within 72 hours I was on the highway rollingggg πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‚ Fast forward, I decided to become a truck driver later on & knowing how to drive a manual truck was pretty much a MUST. Thankfully, because of my 1st little stick shift car & the lessons my parents gave me, I already had the foundation. πŸ₯ΉπŸ«ΆπŸΌ I got my CDL in a manual truck and started my career driving cross country. I got into my first automatic semi when I went to Prime Inc. πŸš› & I haven’t been back in a manual since But… I just started with a new company and they asked me, β€œCan you drive a manual?” & you already know I said Of course I can πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ˜ŒπŸ˜‚ Crazy how buying the best car I could afford as a college freshman ended up teaching me a skill I’d still be using all these years later. πŸ₯ΉπŸ’• Definitely glad I have this one under my belt! And of course I’m doing it in rocking my clothing brand @prettyasatrucker , which I created to celebrate feminine women in male-dominated industries and remind us that our pretty has NO boundaries. πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸš›πŸ’• Because apparently you CAN be this girly and still know what to do with 10 gears. πŸ€πŸ˜‚πŸ˜Ž Where my manual truck drivers at? Can you drive stick shift? πŸš›πŸ‘€πŸ₯ΉπŸ‘‡πŸΌ #trucker #trucking #femaletrucker #truckerlife #truckinglife
