POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At @smilingthroughchaos we see possibilities in a space, a story, a personality…and create a celebration around them. Unexpected details. Bold choices. A vision that feels personal from the moment you walk in.

And behind it all? A team that goes all in.

We take the planning seriously. The rules about what a celebration “ should” look and feel like? Those are meant to be broken. 💥

The kind of event where guest walk into one space, then turn the corner and discover something else entirely.

Every moment and detail began with an idea created for the celebration. The creative direction came from Smiling Through Chaos, and our vendors brought it’s a life in ways guest could see, feel, and enjoy all night.

Which detail would you still be talking about?

The pretty part is only pretty when every detail behind it is right.

So yes, unpacking signage, checking the print and details, and making sure there are not surprises waiting for us on the event day isn’t always pretty.

Post ideas and creation, we handle the details behind the scenes so our clients can simply enjoy the experience.

Celebrating 10 years of @smilingthroughchaos with a custom painted handbag for a cause 🥂

After years of working together for years, I didn’t think twice when Amanda @smilingthroughchaos asked @michelesobel_fineart to create a custom painted bag to raffle off for charity at her event planning company’s 10 year anniversary celebration 🥂

Her events always start with a mood board so we drew inspiration from:
💖Jewel tones — the event colors
💜The invitation which looked like shards of black glass

It was only fitting that we painted a colorful, multi-faceted gemstone, inspired by the celebration.

The best part? The raffle proceeds from this collaboration benefited victims of domestic violence.

As always, her 10 year anniversary celebration was full of energy, the coolest vendors and a packed dance floor.

Congrats Amanda on a full decade of creating magic and unforgettable events. Boring never stood a chance with you!
