Heavy Hitters 2024 was most definitely one to remember! 🥊🔥❤️‍🔥💯‼️

I talk all the time about how RANSOM transformed my life in more ways than one, and this year's Heavy Hitters Conference is just further proof of that statement. Last year, when I went to my first Heavy Hitters Conference (and my first RANSOM conference in general), I learned a lot about the behind-the-scenes of RANSOM, the sacrifices put into making it what it is, everything that we do outside of a Monday night, how to be a leader on campus and how to better myself in every aspect of my life. This year at Heavy Hitters, I learned more and more from multiple people, and I now I look to apply it as 2025 comes along!

As some of you know, life has been hitting me from all angles this year, and at times, I've been going back to the place where I was last year where I would overthink my life and keep asking God where I was going from here. The people at RANSOM that I've listened to and took notes from reminded me that I AM A LEADER & I CAN get through whatever dire circumstances I face because I got God right there with me!

Everything that God did in just 3 short days in Birmingham just reminded me of the community that God put in my life to lift me up and support me no matter what. Everybody that went on this life-changing trip from 6 different campuses definitely experienced God move differently than He has before, and I can't thank Him enough for allowing me to be a part of this once again!

Work doesn't stop here, y'all! It's time for us to shake up junk on our campuses! WE THE ONES!!! 🩸☝🏽

HEAVY HITTERS 2024 🥊🥊🥊 LIFE CHANGING

More than I could ever ask for!! HE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL 🙏🏽 This trip was more than I could have hoped for! I went into the trip tired and weary, and left refreshed like I’ve been shot out of a CANNON 💥

I saw the joy and hope of Christ face to face! I saw his goodness and the sweetness of his mercy! The one who came for the sick, JESUS of NAZARETH! I saw 🗻’s moved and ⛓️‍💥’s broken!

3️⃣0️⃣ of my Students from CU Gave God a chance this weekend! And I saw God do Exceedingly and Abundantly more than I could’ve ever asked for‼️ THANK YOU GOD!!

I don't know where to start all of these pictures mean so much with so many emotions that I can't even put into words,I am so grateful that God called on me to go on this RANSOM SB trip even though I was scared and didn't know anyone when I got there. I have been through so much since last year, from a breakup that I felt alone, I isolated myself from everyone and so scared to be happy again but God showed me it's okay to be alone and I learned self love again. This was such a life changing experience from hearing people's testimony's that compared to mine, to cheering on UAB basketball team in Memphis when no one else was and spreading the word of God after the game! Even though I joined @ransom_cu this year that first night I went little did I know it changed my life and how God was finding my path to happiness and success. My biggest takeaway from this trip is what am I letting go and have I truly layed down my life for God? I was able to share part of my testimony Monday at @ransom_uab I felt more confident after learning so much about building that deeper connection with God. I am so grateful for meeting new people and students who have a relationship with God, and getting closer with friends from CU. I can't wait to see where my journey goes and grows with my faith with God! #godisgood #thejourneycontinues #ransomu22
