A Little Fashion, Fun & Goodwill!

Well, let me start by saying I’m not a thrift shopper! Lol. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but since fashion was our topic on The Priti Rachel Show, I figured why not try something different? (Yes, Eva helped! SOS-she was on a call)

Off to Goodwill I went, going through racks of clothing, trying to find an outfit of the day for Priti and me. And I have to say, I actually enjoyed it! It was fun, something different, and I managed to find outfits that complemented both our styles and personalities.
Yesterday’s show was a great one! We had the pleasure of having Eva Nieves, a fashion professional, join us for some great conversation about fashion, confidence, and finding your own personal style without spending a fortune.

And that’s the beauty of it! You don’t have to spend a ton to look great or feel confident in what you’re wearing. Sometimes it’s about rediscovering what’s already in your closet, mixing and matching a few pieces, or adding a little thrift find here and there. Looking fabulous doesn’t mean breaking the bank!

Now, our Outfits of the Day!

Rachel’s Look: A black blazer, slightly oversized, just how I like it, with beautiful gold buttons along the sides, paired with a black lace dress. I pulled out a pair of comfortable boots from my own closet, added a gold belt and matching earrings, and there it was! A complete outfit with a little something from the thrift shop and a few things I already owned!

Priti’s Look: A beautiful white and light brown leopard-print dress that could easily be dressed up or down. She paired it with leggings and a lace top underneath to cover some of the front opening, giving it a classy, elegant look while keeping her own personal style!
Would I do it again? Maybe!

But I definitely enjoyed the experience. A little creativity, a little confidence, and stepping outside your comfort zone can go a long way!

BEHIND THE MIC 🎙️
A Moment Captured

Your host Rachel’s Perspective💕 a moment to share… a moment to inspire..

Sometimes, it’s the simplest moments that capture my attention.

On an evening drive to the airport, surrounded by beautiful city lights and good companionship, I found myself taking videos and admiring the view. We all know how busy the city can be, especially when we’re rushing somewhere.

But as I looked at those beautifully illuminated buildings, I couldn’t help but wonder about the lives behind those windows. From the outside, everything looked so beautiful. But what was happening on the inside? Laughter, love, happiness, loneliness, or perhaps struggles we may never know?

Behind every light, there’s a life. Behind every window, a story.

Just a moment captured, a thought that stayed with me, and perhaps a conversation worth having.

Today on The Priti Rachel Show, we talked about what it really means to be present, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Life moves fast, we juggle so much, and sometimes we’re so focused on what’s next that we miss what’s happening right now. Priti brought up the biological clock and the timelines we place on ourselves, which opened the door to some very real conversations and personal experiences.

This topic became even more meaningful after a moment I experienced Saturday with someone very special to me, Timothy (I shared the story live today). During our conversation, I realized how quickly we can disconnect, but also how easily we can bring someone into our reality, our experience and our presence.

That moment was an awakening for me and confirmation that Are You Present? was exactly the conversation Priti and I needed to have.

When I became a host of this show, I made a commitment to show up as myself and share the highs, the lows and the real moments in between. If sharing part of my journey helps someone realize they’re not alone, then we’re doing exactly what we set out to do.

A story of courage, service, strength and purpose. Investigate Before You Date by Gail Ciampa-Spear is more than a book.

It’s a journey that reminds us that sometimes the story you never planned to write becomes the one you needed to tell. Born during a time of grief and loss, Gail turned her experience into something meaningful that could help, educate and protect others. Looking forward to sharing more about Gail, her journey and the story behind the pages.

Ignored the typo! GUEST! The auto dictation picked up my accent🧡

Join us this Tuesday on The Priti Rachel Show for a conversation that I think will make all of us stop and think about how we’re spending the time we have.

We spend so much of our lives looking back at what was, thinking about what’s next, and sometimes rushing right through what’s happening in front of us. Life moves quickly. People grow, relationships change, seasons pass, and some of the moments that feel ordinary today may one day become the memories we wish we could experience just one more time.

This Tuesday, we’re talking about life, time, and what it really means to be present. To slow down. To listen a little closer. Take the picture. Give the hug. Have the conversation. Enjoy the people sitting right in front of you. The past has already happened and the future will come soon enough. But what are you doing with right now, while you have the time?

Today Tuesday 9/29/26 on The Priti Rachel Show, In Her Shoes opened up a great conversation about how much has changed since the 1950s and in some ways, how much really hasn’t. We talked about the expectations that were placed on women then to look polished, feminine, and “put together,” and how those same expectations can still show up today. And while we often associate this pressure with women, we agreed it isn’t necessarily gender-specific. Women can have those same expectations of men, too.

We also talked about how “dressing the part” means something completely different to everyone. What feels comfortable and confident to one person may be viewed by someone else as “dressing down.” For Rachel, even working in the aesthetics and beauty world, comfort is important, although there can still be that pressure to look a certain way. For Priti, dressing up, being glamorous, and putting it all together every day comes naturally it’s part of who she is and something she genuinely enjoys.

At the end of the day, comfort, confidence, femininity, masculinity, and personal style don’t have one definition. Whether you’re Crocs and boots or sneakers and glam heels, maybe the real question isn’t whether you’re dressed “right” it’s whether you feel like yourself in your own shoes.

Different shoes. Different perspectives. Same conversation.

That was In Her Shoes.

Okay… now it’s getting interesting!

Priti and I may share the same microphone, but that doesn’t mean we’re always going to share the same opinion. Next Tuesday, expect some laughs, a little side-eye, a few “wait… WHAT?” moments and some friendly debates.

And this time, you’re part of the conversation. We’ll give our take, but YOU get to cast your vote!
