S+N on digital & film 💐🎞️ 🖤
so excited to finally share more of this day! every single detail was SO intentional and beautiful. from the traditional Vietnamese wedding dress & tea ceremony, to the moody romantic tones, a black wedding cake covered in handmade sugar flowers, and walking to the grooms college dive bar with all of their favorite people 🥹

nothing felt like it was there just because it was “wedding pretty”, truly every little piece had personality, meaning, or a story behind it and it was perfectly… them ✨

* DISCLAIMER, these are close friends who are not drunk 🤣 The photos that come from a guest with the camera can sometimes be the best 😉 plus this gives you time to get that late night wedding coke!

Marilynn came to me from two hours away looking for someone who truly understood her naturally curly hair and I’m so glad she made the drive 🥰

We had a plan after her bridal preview, but wedding mornings don’t always go according to plan.

Between the humidity and how her curls were behaving that morning, we realized her hair needed more than the finishing touches we had planned. So we pivoted, started from scratch and created the fullness and texture she had envisioned.

And then we pivoted again ✨

Her preview makeup had been a little smokier, but that morning she realized she wanted to feel softer and more natural.

So we changed it! 💖

Glowing skin, soft definition, her curls full and beautiful and most importantly, she still felt like herself.

A bridal preview gives us a starting point, but you are never locked into a look. Hair changes. Weather happens. You might simply change your mind.

My job is to listen, adjust and make sure that when I hand you that mirror, you love the person looking back at you.

And this reaction… 🥹💕 This is the moment we do it all for.
