New Renovations for Mesa College Design Center; in collaboration with Mesa alumni and a current Mesa Architecture Student for design, logistics and construction management!

Meet Joanna O’Neil, Holden Hobbs and Lawrence Isaiah Jose — two proud Mesa alumni and one current student bringing their talents and passion to the place where their architecture and design careers began. Hear how they’re helping shape what’s next for our Design Center (Z buildings), and why this project means so much to them.

Construction is estimated to kick off over winter break later this year and continue in phases into late 2027 to mitigate disruptions.

Renovations planned include: new and upgraded roofing, doors, windows, stucco, HVAC and mechanical systems, fire safety and courtyard for student gathering.

Have you ever had a class in the Z buildings? Drop a 💙 if you’re a current student or a 🎓 if you’re a proud alum!
