#runclub #running #runningclub #prezzemolo #runrace

been thinking a lot about the conversations we have over shared meals in busy restaurants

and how, if you’re lucky, the food is incredible, and that table (which is always too small), becomes a safe space where no topic is off-limits and the other tables around you seem to disappear

we talked about mortality, human resilience, toxicity in friendships, threesomes, gratitude, fearlessness in your early twenties, unrealistic expectations, and how nothing compares to a table full of shared appetizers (they’re always better than the main meal)

we laughed, we cried, we thoroughly enjoyed the stracciatella and fig dish at @prezzemollo.mtl
