Building the kind of bike adventures I always wished existed.

Good trails.
Great people.
Dialed bikes.
Cold drinks.
Fresh cookies.
No ego.

Just an insanely fun day outside in Vermont.

This weeks Basecamp ride with the @julboeyewearna crew was a reminder that the right setup can completely change how people experience riding.

And honestly?
The e-bikes make everything more fun ⚡️

Come ride with us. 🚴🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

We were absolute martyrs. Titans. Folklore. The unsung gravel gods who have never and will never receive a Hall of Fame plaque because the committee simply isn’t emotionally prepared for our greatness.

Self-aggrandizing? Obviously. That’s the point. History is written by the dramatic.

If you had even the faintest idea of the absolute psychological, meteorological, and borderline spiritual warfare we endured so you could cosplay toughness on a bike in garbage weather for six hours, you might have dialed down the sniffles by, say… 80%.

We bled. We froze. We persevered. You complained about your gloves.

And the real tragedy? We loved you anyway. Fiercely. Irrationally. Like the slightly feral, misunderstood family member you defend in public and roast in private. That was us. That was the love.

Heroes? Without question.
Decorated? No.
Bitter? Only theatrically.

We have loved collaborating with Jeff Price, designer, cyclist, and one of the brains behind Rasputitsa.

Inspired by his days at @uvmcycling, Jeff worked with us to design a t-shirt series illustrating how we fuel more fun.

On Quench’d today, Jeff shares stories from his time at UVM cycling and why he thinks “Your Spandex Could Use a Drink”

Cheers! Find Jeff’s story and the first t-shirt in the series in our link in bio.

This race has been everything to us. We grew up with it, raised our families with it, and forged lasting friendships because of it. It has been our spirit, our passion, our frustration, our heartbreak, and our shared love. We’ve built a community that is strong and resolute.

While we don’t need to dramatize and say gravel is dead, we cannot ignore that it has changed over the last ten years for better and for worse. It has evolved, and so have we. Time has shaped us, challenged us, and transformed us. We’ve come to realize that nothing thrives without rest. There is power in pause and wisdom in waiting, which is why we will be taking a sabbatical in 2025.

We contemplated closing up shop, but it is the only decision in our history we aren’t strong enough to make. The love and support you have consistently shown us has kept us going, and for that, we are forever indebted. But now, we need the power of silence to restore our smiles, spend irreplaceable time with family, focus on our health, and imagine our next journey.

Every concert has an end, every tour has its close, and every artist needs time to recede and write the next album. We hope you will allow us to draft our next masterpiece and join us when we are ready to sing again.

With love, in community, and for freedom,

Anthony, Heidi, and Jeff

ps. This picture is the Rasputitsa staff and crew at our best. It’s our families, it’s our wildness, it’s our joy.
