All beginner portfolios are different and that's totally okay!
My mentor was looking for creativity and how I engaged with art as a medium; which is why I focused on making as many original designs as I could. I also added little notes to explain my thought process in my final draft.

📢 I was wrongfully banned from Instagram for ‘impersonation’—but how do you impersonate yourself?

For seven years, I’ve built my community on this platform. I followed Instagram’s guidelines, verified my identity, and even reported the real impersonator. But instead of protecting me, Instagram disabled my account.

Meanwhile, the person who stalked me and impersonated me is still here. I’ve done everything I can to get my account back—but I’m being ignored.

💔 What hurts even more? @hinge handled the same issue with more care.Their team responded immediately, verified my identity, and restored my account within ten days. I just wish Instagram would do the same.

This isn’t just about me. If you’re a **small creator, content creator, influencer, or business owner**, this could happen to you. Your platform could be taken away without reason, without help, and without justice.

🔹 Help me reach @meta @instagram.
🔹 If you believe in fair treatment for creators, please share this.
🔹 Comment below, tag Instagram Support, and make your voice heard.

Let’s make sure no other small creator has to go through this. @Instagram, please do the right thing. Fix this before it happens again.

The scammer will try to trick you with old pictures and fake voice calls. Do not fall for it. Ask for proof of identification like a selfie with a recent college ID card or a selfie with the face and username and the current date. I will never message anyone first and I will never message anyone inappropriately.

“The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.” Understandings of gender continuously grows. During a person’s life, the interests, activities, clothing and professions that are considered the domain of one gender or another evolve in ways both small and large. This has perhaps never been more true than it is now. The data gives us an insight that today’s young people have significantly different understandings of gender than previous generations, with consequences for all children, families, organizations and institutions.

People tend to use the terms “sex” and “gender” interchangeably. However, the two terms are not equivalent. Once a sex is assigned, we presume the child’s gender. For some people, this is cause for little, if any, concern or further thought because their gender aligns with gender-related ideas and assumptions associated with their sex.

WHAT COUNTS AS CONSENT?

Sometimes people tend to believe that consent is some kind of obscure concept.
It's not.

Consent is something that is absolutely essential before sex, and anything less than absolute enthusiastic consent is the bare minimum.

It is also important to remember that consent that is given after repeated pleading and pressuring is not consent.

Consent is equally important for both women and men. Men are often pressured into sex and even raped, but often face ridicule when they come out with their stories due to the toxic traditional belief that men cannot be raped.

Thus, it is essential to ask for consent, and to remember that if it is not complete enthusiastic consent, it's a sign to stop immediately and have a conversation before it goes any further.

Consent FAQs

1. What does it mean to "give consent"? "Giving consent" means to give permission to another person in order to engage in any activity with you.
-
2. Is consent always related to sex?

NO. Even though consent is very closely related to sex in the form of assent before engaging in any sexual act, consent applies to almost everything. It is as important to take consent before taking a video of someone else as it is to take consent before engaging in physical relations with someone else.
-
3. Can consent be withdrawn after it is given?

YES. Consent is not constant. A person may withdraw consent, before or during sex, and if their wishes are not respected, it is definitely tantamount to rape.
-
4. What other situations can consent apply to except sex?

Consent applies to any and all kinds of physical contact like hugs, kisses, etc and even in situations where there is borrowing of things involved, taking photographs or videos, among other things.
-
5. Why is consent so important?

Consent is essential, because without consent anything that is done, is done against the will of a person, and that is unacceptable.
