ROTTERDAM YOU SHOWED UP ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

To everyone who stepped into the cypher, cheered from the sidelines, shared their knowledge or danced with someone who they’d just met: thank you for being part of Urban Spirit.

This weekend brought together women from across generations, countries, styles, each with their own story and something to bring to the floor. Watching you exchange, challenge and support each other is exactly why we do this.

To the dancers, judges, DJs, MCs, showcase groups and workshop teachers: thank you for sharing your craft and energy. To our audience, crew and our partners and everyone working behind the scenes: thank you for making room for these moments to happen. A special thank you to @theaterzuidplein for welcoming us and transforming the stage of your theatre into a battle arena for the first time ever.

A special thanks to @hiphopladiesturkiye and @duyguetikn for trusting us to bring a project so dearly to you to The Netherlands together 💛

From all of us at Xclusiv Company: you have all inspired us so much. We’re proud to have brought you together and even more proud and grateful for what you brought each other 🤍 Our community is truly our art

WHEN WOMEN COME TOGETHER, THE FLOOR COMES ALIVE ❤️‍🔥

We’ll be posting more of the battles throughout this week on both Instagram Stories and Reels so keep your eyes peeled

After working with some dancers I felt the need to do a street dance mix for them to practice to so I have been in the dojo and it is nearly finished. It will be up as a free download on our bandcamp by the weekend#hiphop #music #streetdance #dance
