“I am because we are.” ❤️✨

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent events! Your energy made this community feel like home. 🫶🙌

First, we want to share a huge thank you to the Ubuntu team. Your rich performance, dedication, and hard work over these past several months have been incredible. It has been such a pleasure to watch this group of women grow together and showcase the beauty of black culture. 💃🏾✨

A special shout-out to @divakazz — the talented producer, composer, and musician who gave us the opportunity to share her art with us. We are so inspired and hope to do many more things together in the future! 🎤🎭

Special thank you for our bachata teacher @angelicamarion

And of course, we want to thank our DJ, @byduskmusic who made sure to create the perfect vibe for us throughout the event. 🎧🔥
Mutuashi was a particularly special milestone for us. Our goal was to celebrate life alongside people from every different culture, and seeing us all come together as one community was the greatest gift we could have hoped for. That is the true spirit of Ubuntu. 🌍🤝

*LONG MUSHY POST ALERT*

Where to begin! Still processing the immense feeling of pride and joy I feel working with these stars.

These guys have given me their all since October. Some of them have never performed or have danced a short while and some of them have been my students for a couple years now. But these guys gave Birmingham a show they won’t forget.

To my team, I want to thank you for trusting me with this choreography and the vision I had for you. Thank you for making me fall in love with what I do all over again. But most of all thank you for the laughs, you guys are crazy 😂. I love you and proud of you all.

Thank you to everyone who has been there to support these guys, wished them well and cheered them on. Thank you to @qmsalsasociety for trusting me the last couple years and my right hand @kallivekk for always being there for everyone.

Finally thank you to @mauricioreyesofficial and the @danceclublatino team for having us and giving them a platform to compete.
