Official POSTER 2026 WOMEN AND THE WORLD — COSMIC KALI

We are proud to present Cosmic Kali, the Poster artwork for the Women and the World International Film Festival, @wwiff_official created by British-Ukrainian artist Mariya Dykalo @mariyadykalo

Rendered in deep blue and gold, the work carries a subtle echo of Ukraine — a country forced to reclaim its power in the midst of darkness.

Kali embodies the fierce and complex nature of feminine energy: strength and vulnerability, creation and destruction, stillness and transformation. She does not ask permission to take up space. She reminds us that a woman’s power was never lost — only silenced.

As Mariya Dykalo writes:

“At the centre is the woman.
Around her, the world.
And between them, there is no separation.

We carry the world within us, just as we are part of the world itself.”

The AGE of the “GOOD GIRL” IS OVER.

“Well-behaved women seldom make history.”
— Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

It is time for women to reclaim their strength — to be whole, instinctive, fearless and free.

The Women and the World International Film Festival takes place in London from 5–12 November 2026.

Visit www.iffww.com for programme updates, announcements and further details.
