A micro wedding is usually defined as an intimate wedding with around 50 guests or fewer.

But a smaller guest list does not mean you have to have a smaller vision.

A small wedding can still include dramatic draping, layered tablescapes, beautiful china, statement florals, a mobile bar, live music, and a reception space completely transformed for the celebration.

In fact, one of the reasons couples choose a micro wedding or intimate wedding is that fewer guests can create more freedom to focus on the experience.

More room for intentional wedding design.
More time with the people you invited.
More flexibility when choosing a unique or small wedding venue.
And more opportunity to spend on the wedding details that actually matter to you.

A micro wedding isn’t necessarily an elopement, a minimalist wedding, or a budget wedding.

It’s simply a wedding with an intentionally smaller guest count and that can still look like a full, beautifully designed celebration.

If you’re planning an intimate wedding, micro wedding, or small wedding, save this for your wedding inspiration board.

Small guest list. Full celebration. The promise of adventure.

HAVE THE WEDDING! Spend the money, invite your loved ones, get the best photographer and videographer you can find, ask a sibling to officiate, find her dream dress and your perfect jacket. After seeing all the time, energy and details put into planning this I kept saying it would be easier if we just eloped. Boy am I glad we didn’t. April 24th will forever be remembered as one of the best days of our lives.
