It is marathon week and I’ve been blessed by getting to spend time with all the people I care about despite taking very few photos with them. No real goals this year other than legs go brrrrrrr.

Finally got to link up with the homie @capitalceez_ We’re both doing the Chicago Half, and decided to do one last long run to test waters on where we are. Vibes were high and we were just flowing through miles. Turned up the last couple miles hitting sub 9’s.

Today is a special day for me. Six years ago, I joined @midwaymilechasers , never imagining that running would become such an important part of my life. These six years have been truly amazing. I have met so many wonderful people and made friendships that I deeply value.

I am incredibly grateful to my best friend, @773chiguy rene for encouraging me to join. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

After six years with MMC, we are still a running family. I have learned so much—not only about running, but also about myself. This journey has helped shape me into the person I am today.

Two years now also founder @lyonsrunclub where I am proud to serve as president and founder. That experience has been equally amazing. Running has become an important part of my mental health and personal well-being.

I am grateful for the running community and for everyone I have met along the way—many of whom are now close friends. We run, cheer for one another, laugh, have fun, and encourage each other to be ourselves.

So far, I have completed two marathons, three half-marathons or more, and many 5K races. As a leader, I am thankful for the opportunity to support people who work hard and strive to reach their goals.

Happy six-year running anniversary to me. I have learned so much from this experience, and to everyone who has been part of my journey: you know who you are. Also my family being there me as well

Here is to continuing to run, grow, and do it for my mental health and for myself.

Nothing like surrounding yourself around like minded people who want it as bad as you do. Linked up with the homie @lopez_moises89 and put some work in. Second half of the run made me realize I can push myself more than I have been this prep. Looking forward to put that up on race day.

A couple days ago I got some sort of strain on my quad , but today’s run went smooth without any tightness or discomfort. That’s a good sign! Lets beat this heat, let’s keep pushing and keep stacking days.

Happy July 1st and happy 2-year anniversary to Lyons Run Club! I’m incredibly grateful for this amazing community where runners meet, train, and grow together. Thank you to everyone for being part of this journey.

Happy Global Running Day. I started running in late 2018 to get into shape. Then used that as an escape during the pandemic. Then in late 2022 decided to run my first race after a 11 year gap. I challenged myself to do hard things (running 10ks to half marathons all the way to marathons). But the best thing this sport has brought me is the community I built and the friendships I made. Running has been a big part of my life and I hope it will be there for a long time. Thank you to everyone that I I have ran with and supported me through this journey. I am forever grateful to you all.

What a beautiful day and such a fun time at the first @carreradelasmadres Had an amazing time in the midway area—no PRs today, just soaking it all in and making memories. So happy to have been interviewed today on NBC—great to see Jenn out there too! This race truly honored my mom, my sister, and all the moms out there. Happy Mother’s Day to every mom everywhere.
