In the Fashion World, the MAGIC Show in Las Vegas is the place to be & be seen. Being a fashion designer coming first from Atlanta meant every uphill battle you could think of. In 2008, there weren’t many resources for a young black designer, let alone a Young Creative In Atlanta. Stores like @wishatl & @thestandard & @waltersclothing were it. If you were a designer you had to Find blank tees, design them, & print them. All of these things require money and you had to work all week to save money to pay for all of these things. All of that & you aren’t even in stores yet! You’ve spent your last dime on round trip airfare to the tradeshow because you didn’t buy them in advance. But It’s the same time EVERY YEAR. It’s TWICE a year!! But yet you still came because every thing you learn & every person you met added more to your EXPERIENCE. And your PROCESS. #trusttheprocess The homie @chillyolovesyou 📷 caught this moment in time ⏳ . . . #streetwear #streetstyle #fashionstyle #mensfashion #womensfashion #tbt #tbt❤️ #throwbackthursday

This year I have the opportunity to travel abroad on an educational trip to France and Switzerland this fall. I am so excited and looking forward to this opportunity to experience the cultures and put my French speaking skills to use. In November 2017 I started my own business Jaida’s Jewelry Box where  I make hand beaded bracelets and sell earrings. For me this trip is for both the education and exploration for my business in efforts of gaining retail contacts for Jaida’s Jewelry Box. I know I will learn so much from this experience. It will broaden my thinking and will create new possibilities for my future. In order to attend this trip of a lifetime I will need to raise $4000 before August 15th. My travels will include: Paris Cruise on the Seine Louvre Museum Switzerland Plains de Plainpalais (Flea Market) I would greatly appreciate you being a supporter. @jaidas_jewelry #atlantavegan #kidprenurs #community #webuyblack #bethechange
