Absolutely love following the several@churchilldawgsfootball players who play multiple sports. Today we highlight these 3 @dawgssports multi sport athletes. @prince_melchi wrapped up his 3rd year of varsity bball. Melchi was the defensive stopper as well as raising the team intensity level each time he was on the court. @allen.huebl just competed in the hockey state championship last night. His toughness and athleticism on ice were huge in hockey’s run to state final. @charlie.trenkamp is still getting after it on the mat. He is on day 3 of the state championships. Charlie lost a tough state semifinal match last night in OT, today he battles back and has an opportunity to go get 3rd in the state! These are the individual experiences that lead to team success as well as team chemistry come August! Proud of all the multi sport Dawgs and what they not only do for our team culture but the culture of the our entire athletics program. #GATA #SBAB

Took a tough L last night that ended our season. I am truly grateful for all of those who helped make this season so enjoyable. My wife and kids who support me following my coaching passion. Thankful to my assistants and their families who also sacrifice so much to help make the program run. Thankful to all the parents for their unconditional support of our program and vision and everything they do to help enhance the experience for our players. Thank you to all the fans and community members who packed the pound and even traveled to away games to support. Thank you to our amazing Churchill staff and administration for their amazing support of all our student athletes.

To my players. Thank you for all of your effort and sacrifices it takes to be a part of our program. While the ball didn’t bounce our way the thing I am the most proud of is the way you never give up and continue to play with relentless effort and passion. The ball will stop bouncing at some point but if you approach everything life will throw at you with the same relentless effort and passion I KNOW you all will be successful! To my Seniors- Ben, Steve, Jason, Melchi, Clement, Will and Elijah. Thank you for 4 wonderful years and we are all excited to see you evolve in the next chapter of your life. To the young guys- the work is just beginning. We are excited for the future and we WILL be back!
