🚨Youngins, be careful who you idolize. Sometimes you’re looking at a reputation without understanding the price that came with it.

A name that carries weight behind prison walls doesn’t guarantee respect on the outside. And trying to defend that image can cost you the very freedom you worked to get back.

Learn from the OGs. Respect their experiences. But don’t confuse surviving prison with succeeding in life.

You don’t have to repeat somebody’s past to earn your own respect. #amftv #bighomie #illusion #watchdacomeback #fyp

🚨 PLEASE REPOST, SHARE & SPREAD THE WORD! 🚨

I’m asking ALL of my followers to share this video to your Reels, tag @princelateef_, and help bring awareness to what’s happening behind prison walls.

@princelateef_ is currently incarcerated, serving a 170-year prison sentence, and he’s using his voice to give other incarcerated men, both young and old, an opportunity to tell their stories. Many of these men are serving extraordinarily long sentences, raising serious questions about justice, accountability, and whether some punishments truly fit the crimes.

These are real people, real lives, and real stories that deserve to be heard.

I’m asking everyone to repost these videos, share them with your friends and followers, and help get these stories in front of as many people as possible.

I’ll be posting more interviews and videos because I believe these voices deserve to be heard beyond those prison walls.

🙏🏽 ONE REPOST CAN REACH THOUSANDS. ONE VOICE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Please SHARE, REPOST, and TAG @princelateef_. Let’s bring awareness to these stories! 💯🙏🏽❤️

Tales From The Jails, we had an exclusive interview with Khalil Murray, who is serving time at SCI Phoenix State Prison. Tawfiq asked Khalil what it’s like for guys in there who have lost touch with their relatives and society. The response Khalil gave us sent chills through our bodies—it’s heartbreaking. We have to do better to stay out of these places by any means necessary.

Shout out to @princelateef_ and the young brother for bringing this important message to the community and taking the time to care enough to speak from the heart and literally lived experience of the consequences of the street life.

Every decision is choosing something. 🎯

Your future — or the moment.
Your purpose — or the pressure.
Who you’re becoming — or who the world expects you to be.

That’s why CHOOSE YOU became more than two words during our youth prevention work.

When students receive that wristband, I don’t want them to see merchandise.

I want them to see a reminder.

A reminder that when pressure comes…
when emotions are high…
when everybody around them is going one direction…

they still have a choice.

Choose your future.
Choose your purpose.
Choose your freedom.
Choose YOU.

This is bigger than a wristband.
It’s a message we’re working to put in the hands—and minds—of more young people.

That’s the message. That’s the movement. And we’re just getting started.

This is what “missing out” really looks like. 💔
@princelateef_
His son was born he missed it.
His baby sister graduated high school he missed it.
His older sister had 4 kids he’s never met his nieces and nephews in person.
His mother was diagnosed with cancer he couldn’t be there to support her.
His 19-year-old cousin passed away he couldn’t attend her funeral.

When people talk about doing years in prison, sometimes we only think about the number of years.

But you’re not just losing time…

You’re missing birthdays, graduations, births, deaths, family, memories and moments you can NEVER get back.

That’s the part people don’t always think about.

Is any decision worth missing out on the people you love?
