POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@wavesaudio Smack Attack is one of those tools I’ll pull up inside Waves SuperRack when I need to shape the attack and sustain of my drums without just reaching for more EQ or compression.

On live shows with my artists, I can use it to help the kick punch harder, bring the snare forward, tighten up toms, or control some of that extra sustain that starts getting messy in the room. It’s also great in the Studio world too! Don’t sleep on this plugin.

It’s not about throwing plugins on everything just because you can. It’s about knowing what tool to grab when you hear something you want to fix.

Comment Smack if you want to get on the waitlist to my new Live audio course, where I show exact presets and settings I use in show!

Every year I make plans & without fail, I always seem to back out of said plans. This year was no different…even as a milestone year.
