There’s a popular saying which goes thus “if you want to go fast, you go alone but if you want to go far, you go with people”.
This Journey was far. I meannnnnnn, I finished secondary school 9 years ago, and I get to be called a lawyer in 2026. I am thankful for the people God sent to hold my hand, lead the way and even strengthen my feet.

The School of Service @schoolofservice_ marks its one year anniversary with the graduation of its 6th cohort from the Executive Assistant Mastery course, a workforce development initiative redefining executive assisting.

In just one year, six cohorts have been trained to support high performing leaders and complex organisations with precision, discretion and operational intelligence.

Built to close a critical gap in Nigeria’s professional training ecosystem, the programme equips participants with skills in AI tools, strategic communication, protocol, productivity and leadership support, positioning them as operational partners, not just assistants.

Speaking at the ceremony, Executive Director Gusi Tobby KER @gusitobby emphasised the need to strengthen executive support as a driver of leadership productivity across sectors.

With industry leaders in attendance, the conversation is clear: structured executive support is no longer optional, it is essential.

The School of Service continues to champion the professionalisation of executive support, calling for stronger collaboration across public and private sectors.

As an Advanced Executive Service Management course student at the School of Service, Ms Soala Ikiriko @princess_soala shared her experience attending the Executive Service Masterclass 2.0
