We are so excited to have Pebbles of Rain playing New Beige Bash on May 31st!

The problem with writing a bio for Pebbles of Rain is that the band is singular and by way of that, not easy to define. They’re mostly acoustic, true, but beyond that not-even-fully-true limitation, their sounds exist beyond genre limits. So what will you find in this difficult-to-define space? Thoughtful orchestrated arrangements, eclectic instrumentation, multiple traditional music influences, emotionally honest songwriting, unique subject matter, poetic lyrics, true polyphony, vocals that range from sweet and subtle to intense and powerful, and a synergistic collaboration of four intrepid genre-defying songwriters.

It would be convenient if it were easier to put a single label on it... but that doesn’t detract in any way from how easy it is to be drawn in by the sounds Jeff Angeley, Steven Brum, Sam Babineau, and Christian Camarao make together. Their many individual strengths and successes are numerous and the sound of the band as a whole unit brings more than just the sum of those parts.

@pebblesofrain are joining @karathdelphi @fortunefrenzymusic @earlyadopted @princessbleached and @stay__sleepless in this FREE music festival celebrating the New Bedford Music scene at @galleryx_nb co hosted by @every.body.wins

Doors 4pm
All ages
Bring ID for reasonably priced wine and beer

The New Beige Bash Music Festival is supported in part by a grant from the New Bedford Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Saturday was hopping between @revolutions_salon @noproblemotaqueria & @cocreativecenter

@eric_isaacsen @katknutsenart teamed up to bring some art over to Missy’s high-traffic spot in #BridgewaterMA. Jim Charrette and @socoartlabs made an appearance.

@noproblemotaqueria was hosting another intimately epic concert that featured @badbloomny @riverbedhc and friends. No Problemo events tend to attract a musician and artist fan base. @allalongbandma @jakegirard and @the_long_swan @ryanspercussion were there talking about their show coming up on Dec 7 with @secret___joy at No Problemo. @fox_vixen from @princessbleached and @katknutsenart were talking about an upcoming show at @galleryx_nb that will be hosted by @every.body.wins

@cocreativecenter featured @newmoondanceparty with @20dollarmix @andy.anello and guest artist Ben Bette. The space was beautifully enhanced by artists @mandyfraserart and @newbeigesavage

Shout out to everyone who does their part in making this area shine bright in the visual art and music scenes! TIL next time, be well and stay hydrated ❤️
