It's Wayfinder Wednesday! ✋️✨️ And I can't wait to wayfind my way back to the islands next week.
🌈
SOME CONTEXT: In this video, reposted from @princesseraproductions of my performance as Moana at the @cawatermelonfestival, when the audience first applauds me, I tell them, "On my island of Motunui, whenever we celebrate someone or show support – sure you can clap your hands, but what we do is we say, 'Chee-hoo.' Should we try that out together?"

I don't claim Polynesian heritage, but my Filipino (Austronesian) roots encourage me to research so that I can spread cultural information & awareness to others. Because not only is knowledge power, knowledge is free!

As Punzie would say, yesterday was the "best Day EVER!" at Day 1 of the @cawatermelonfestival.
☀️🦎👑
You can still catch Rapunzel, Moana, and some other magical characters from @princesseraproductions today during Day 2 – the FINAL day – of the fest!

WHAT A PARTY! 🎉🎉🎉🩷 Piper's 5th birthday party (almost - officially 5 tomorrow!) was a HIT! Piper had such a fun time with friends and family and we are so grateful to everyone that came out to help make her day special 🥰🥰🥰 It was a yucky, rainy day but everyone showed up and partied hard! Major love to "Addison" for coming and being the GREATEST party hostest ever. Piper was shy but loved her and asked me if she can come back to her party next year. The kids LOVED playing games and dancing with her. @princesseraparties is amazing. Jessica is fantastic and will make your parties PERFECT! Thank you @jessicamoxiemills ....I adore you and loved seeing you after so many years. Thank you @glorious13 for the perfect cupcakes! So many compliments from everyone! Piper ate 2 and wanted another 🤣🤣 @glorious_sweets is our forever favorite sweets! 🍰🧁Great job Skyzone staff! We had so much fun and our bday girl was so happy! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!

It’s so wild that I have a 3 year old already! 🎂We had a fintastic Under the Sea Three Birthday party for my little guppy this past weekend. She was so invested in Ariel & wanted to wear her @mertailor tail the whole time 🧜🏻‍♀️

Had a FINtastic time shellebrating a little Sea Dove yesterday! 🌊🕊 Even Ariel came out to play (but my son was too distracted by the splash pad & balloons). 🎈 What can I say, we mermaids always swim in pods!

YAY! Finally found me in action, exactly a week ago at the @cawatermelonfestival, captured by (fellow puppeteer) @thejaimesoria (hope you don't mind the repost!). Here, I'm explaining the rules of "Tiki Dance" (like Freeze Dance, but from Motunui) to the audience.
🍉
Thanks for coming over to the kids' stage & hope you enjoyed the show! 🤙 Moana will be setting sail for the islands (for REAL) shortly!
