We're back home and after a day of rest we welcomed our newcomers, Archie, Patch and Quenotte today- with a party... of course! 🎉
As it's been snowing the last few days, my little ones decided on a snowman themed party! ⛄️
Everybody was there, even the doggies and the kitties (Korytsya couldn't help it and in proper cat fashion jumped on a table!) 🐕🐈‍⬛
There were lots of yummy things to eat and drink and Leopold, our photographer, was ready to take pics of the newcomers' reactions. Patch and Archie were VERY excited (@a_mouse_called_maude you're probably right, the must have heard about our parties!). They obviously took a pic with Volodymyr and another commemorative one behind the biggest table. 📷
As they used to live in the forest, Archie and Patch were curious to meet the mice who love it and were quite impressed to meet Zephyr: he's so much taller than them! They were quite puzzled when they saw Sprig and Twig- they had never seen goblins before! 🌳
Afterwards, Patch absolutely needed to show everyone the toy plane he brought with him- he also explained how he dreamt of flying one day. Wendy and Rupert immediately came forward and started talking to him about Peter Pan- Patch had never heard about it and as you can guess, he was VERY interested! 🛩
As for Quenotte, he met with the other 'ornament' mice- they all welcomed him very warmly. 🌲
Leaving you know, the party is still in full swing! ❤️

Have yourself a merry little Christmas! We do hope it's peaceful and cozy... 🎄
We woke up to so many presents under the tree... The excitement was real! (Volodymyr, Joy and Elisa even got presents from their friends and family @storiesofbliss!) Everybody managed to pose for a few seconds for a picture with their presents wrapped, though (except for the tiny ones)! Swipe to see the before and after! 🎁
In the meantime, the other minis were preparing everything for tea time... and for a welcome party!!! 🎉
Stephanie's dad adopted a little mouse for her for Christmas so please welcome Nina (and Teddy!), who's been brought to life by @mishasmile_bg! She's still a bit shy and is clutching her teddy bear tightly but she can already feel the love... 🐭🧸
Two neighbours joined the party: Ernest moose, who loves Christmas (and who's also been brought to life by @mishasmile_bg!) and Nils hedgehog, who's become Celestine's best friend. He donned his Christmas robe and brought a box of his favourite cookies in a pretty Christmas bag... 🦔
Our visitor Sally got special gifts to take with her to @roxaminis in the USA: a copy of Santa Mouse, one of the minis' favourite Christmas stories, and an Alsatian Männele! 📕
(Swipe til the last slide to see Nina's coming-out-of-the-box on Christmas Eve! 🎁)

Only two more sleeps until Christmas and everybody's busy over here!!! 🎄
Our German mice, brought to life by @auntpollyandtom and @oh_hedwig_miniatureart, treated themselves and their visitor to Stollen, Lebkuchen and Zimtsterne (you can see the human sized ones in the background!) ⭐️
Ksenia, Peanut and Pim prepared cookies or, as we call them in Alsace, Bredele. Little Sukie made some too and was very proud of them! (Ivan was only waiting for the Bredele to be ready! @needlefelting he reaeaeally loves cookies!) ❤️
Gideon, Elisa and Bell sang Christmas carols (you can hear them if you turn the sound on!) Their neighbour Pumpkin squirrel was here to help with the drumming. Sally sang too- apparently, she likes music @roxaminis! 🥁
Fiona fox was here too- she showed Rosalie how to make a perfect and very classy gingerbread house. Valentyn made one too (that was much more colourful though 🤭)
Pylyp managed to make the same one we made for him when he arrived- Leopold, our little photographer, had to take a picture of it! 📷
Before decorating the Christmas tree, Volodymyr and Xenophon went to post their letter to Santa Mouse (apparently, as long as it's not Christmas yet, you're not late). They must have used the official letter box because @liaundbruna used the same one!) They asked for plushies for their siblings who don't have one yet. Xenophon was really emotional today- it's his first Christmas and everything looks so beautiful! He feels very fortunate, what with his having been a homeless mouse... 📮
It was then time to decorate the tree... Jasper helped Edwin who climbed the ladder, Sally and Matilda were very excited to hang their ornaments, Joy sat on Valentyn's head to hang hers (I think Xenophon and Holly will do the same!) and Celestine decided to invite Nils, because he loves Christmas. (He came with his fancy ducky slippers that @honeysuckleandblackbird made for him and can’t wait to wear his Christmas robe on Thursday!) 🎄

Today we’re celebrating Saint Nicholas (the original Santa Claus!) in Alsace and other Germanic lands. 🎅
In Alsace, on the evening of December 5th, children put their shoes outside, hoping that Saint Nicholas will fill them with little surprises during the night. (If they’ve not been good during the year, it’s Hans Trapp, the ‘Père Fouettard’ -‘Father Whipper’- who’s going to visit!) The little surprises typically include gingerbead, clementines and small toys. We also eat männele (‘little men’), brioches shaped like little men. 🍊
Needless to say, the minis, who’ve all been very good, got lots of goodies! 🎉
They had to bake a bit this year, though, because the celebration was very special: they welcomed a surprise (to them!) sibling, whose name is… Miklós (Nicholas in Hungarian)! He’s been brought to life by Kamilla @our.craft.nook, who lives in England but comes from Hungary! ❤️
As you can see, Miklós is quite passionate about Christmas and can’t wait to decorate the tree dressed in his Christmas tree costume! When he took it out to show it to the other Christmas enthusiasts, Ulysse came forward and said that he was also wearing something green and wanted a pic with Miklós! This gave us an idea: all the minis dressed in green clothes took a pic with him too! Our newcomer was also very happy to play with our donkey figurine (Saint Nicholas comes accompanied by a donkey...) 🎄
As might be expected, everybody’s very excited, little Dean is overjoyed to welcome a direct sibling… and Volodymyr is overwhelmed with emotions! 🥹

Today's the day! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate! 🦃
We don't celebrate it in France, obviously, but since my minis are an international gang we've decided to celebrate it in our home- in our own way. 🤎
First, as everybody's vegetarian, no turkey on the table but a roasted nut (thanks @maggiemice for the inspo!), fondues & soups (@piccoli_spazi_dollhouse), mushroom vol au vents, stuffed pumpkins and last but not least, perfect Thanksgiving roast dinners (@katieannecrafts). 🥣
Second, we give thanks for all our blessings. 🧡
Here are the things my little ones are thankful for:
- each other and me, their adoptive momma- they are all so happy to have a loving family
- their neighbours who are so nice (some of them couldn't be here tonight so Volodymyr will throw another party in the coming days- how exciting is that?!)
- their pets (some of them are here thanks to @tutsiminiworld and @sweet.tiny.houses)
- being safe and healthy 🧡
The littles who have the good fortune to have been brought to life lovingly are thankful for their mommas (Anna @woolboon and Becca @talesfromtheoldthreadhouse, of course, but also all the other amazing artists who are tagged in the pictures). 🧡
We are also thankful for @ashley_abel_,
@talesoflittlenellandernest and @yorkshiretapir who helped some of the minis come home. 🧡
Joy, Elisa, Wendy and Bell are thankful to be able to keep in touch with their siblings @storiesofbliss and @the_little_treehouse_tales. 🧡
Volodymyr is also thankful for something else... Swipe til the last slide to see what is is!!! 🧡

Lucy is excited about the new wreath…now if only the house were done so she’d have somewhere to hang it!
