Happy birthday, my beautiful wife.

One of the best decisions that I have ever made after salvation was marrying you. You are not just a wife but a life partner. You are my support system. I think in less than 3 years, I have gotten to a point that I honestly do not know how I’ll survive without you.

We have been through so much together, but you were never once shaken in your faith.

Life with you is so easy and enjoyable. You have grown so much these past few years that I’m super excited to see what God has for you.

We had a swell time in church yesterday, learning about WORD POWER.

Pastor @jameztobi walked us through the truth that salvation isn’t just a one-time event—it’s a journey. And at the center of that journey is the Word of God, actively transforming us day by day.

We learned that:

🔹 Salvation is both an event and a process
• It includes redemption, forgiveness, adoption, sanctification, and consecration

🔹At salvation
• You have been saved – Ephesians 2:8
• You are being saved – 1 Corinthians 1:18
• You will be saved – Romans 13:11

🔹 Two key aspects of “being saved”
• Sanctification and Consecration
These are how we are progressively shaped into the image of Christ through the power of the WORD.

🔹 Why the Word matters
• It transforms your mind – Romans 12:2
• It sanctifies – John 17:17
• It equips – 2 Timothy 3:16–17

⚠️ What the enemy attacks first
• The Word in your heart – Mark 4:3–20
• Twisting God’s Word with half-truths – Genesis 3:1–5
• Stirring doubt and distortion

🌱 How to grow in the Word
• Study it – 2 Timothy 2:15
• Do it – James 1:22
• Guard your intake – Philippians 4:8

Post -Service pictures(a little of romance and love on the last slide) I think I should make that a separate post
We had an amazing time in service today.

We started a new teaching series on Eusebeia. Today’s focus was on the fruits of righteousness.

We are dead men - as in, dead to sin and alive in Christ. Because we are God’s poetry, handiwork and workmanship, hence we produce good works.

At salvation, God worked something in us and now we have to work it out.

The same message that saved is the same message that we need to hear to live according to design.

Titus 2:11-12
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world

The Ancient Greek word for teaching has in mind what a parent does for a child, so it’s not just enough for you to come into grace but you must understand how to lives grace led life.
