Quick turn around. 48 hours in San Diego. Took Noani to see her Sissy in the Navy. We met Ls Navy friends (made some new friends). Took her out & convinced the club she was turning 21 (she’s 19). Enjoyed the 80 degree weather at the pool with Noani. Visited USS Midway Museum. Hung out with Shawavian & Lil Tj. Went out on the town (21+ frfr this time). It felt like I was 21. Missed our 5a flight & flew home around noon. Best 48 hour trip with my girls. So many more moments like this > because my baby grown yall. Will be back in San Diego soon. #SanDiego #WeekendTrip

Today our baby is 18, if only you both could talk to her now. 😊😌😔

We really did our big one on her, she acts just like you lele, & can have what ever she wants because of you dad! She’s beautiful & smart & jazzy. She’s loud & honest & speaks her mind, she’s shy & considerate & caring. He has her own ideas & supports her family. She energetic & logical. She’s everything - EVERY thing, all of the things we knew she’d be. & she’s 18. We got her there! Happy birthday to my baby, my first true mirror, selfie & shadow. WOW we are really here! My goodness what a day!!! 18. I remember what I thought life was at 18 & I pray she gets everything from life she envisions on this day.

I have high hopes for you. I was 15 when I gave birth to this little human. I had no dreams. No ideas on what was next or what was to come, through major deaths, moves across the country and a new baby, you were the highest hope. I hope your dreams take you to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunities, and to the most special places your heart has ever known. Hoping you find everything unexpected on your journey of millions of miles. Life is chaotic but when you look back the chaos carries you through some of the highest moments a soul can experience. I hope you feel them in the moment & let go to enjoy the ride. Here we go, off to never never land. Congratulations high school is just the beginning of it all. To graduate high school at 17 is more than I could have ever hoped for you. Love you & buckling up for the ride you’re about to take us on. Let’s go!!!!

Y’all look what I made. I made this beautiful baby when I was a baby. Just think I have birth at 15. Babies having babies. The pride I find in both of our journey’s. I did that.

Noani’s 2nd Birhday. Don’t we look beautiful. (Hold the screen with your thumb to pause photos)

Thank you everyone for coming out. So much love surrounds her & we are blessed to have you in her village.

Crazy shout out to my best friend & Noanis’ God Dad @prince_viszz who was there planning, pulling all-nighters & setting up the party with me. So glad you are her God Dad.

Photos are amazing. Book with @aranisse.c for your Seattle photography needs.
