My first ever exhibition is now open for all to visit!🥳The opening reception of the Sion Papi exhibition at the @dyckmanfarmhouse was a success! Thank you to everyone that came out to support and see the exhibition. Hearing my film echo throughout Dyckman, a place that means so much to me and my dad, meant a lot. It genuinely felt like my voice was walking through the Dyckman streets hand in hand with his spirit. As an uptown girly, Dyckman always held a special place in my heart where I grew up going to my dads house and could find all the foods I grew up eating at home, where nearly all businesses spoke Spanish, and where I could explore my Dominican culture. Having my film be on display in Dyckman in a placed filled with so much history really touches my heart. Thank you once again to the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum for granting me this amazing opportunity.
