Don’t we need more nights like this in Nollywood? ABSOLUTELY! 🎬

I loved that we got to watch a series of short films and then share our two cents. Sorry, I meant our two billion opinions about each one. 😂

Well done, @nightofshorts_ @heavens.obule @theabiodunodu! You guys put in the work and gave us such an excellent experience. 👏🏽❤️

The Joy that comes with telling a good story and having the right people to embark on that journey with you.. WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE (The Movie) tested us on all fronts, but we came prepared. #exodus #colorbarmedia707 #amcchannels #johnnjamah #creativenomad

Pls have a seat

As we prepare to dive into the world of what will be defined as your final exams. This one is for the ages and will determine your advancement into the full blown maturity of what and how you see love.

Answering of questions will be by 'tweets, comments, stories and everything social media has to offer.' And this show will answer what you have been thinking because 'for better or worse' needs a plot twist."

I enjoyed playing Daniel a little too much!! 😂🤭
My love for this guy was on first read! And honestly… what a beautiful weirdo he is. 😩😂❤️

Many thanks to the good people of @paladincreativestudio. To my EP/Director, @rogbathebaron and my SP, @biolabelle — thank you for trusting me with this character and giving me the space to play. 🙏🏼❤️

To the entire cast and crew of BETTER HALF, y’all have my heart for life. ♥️

What happens when love stops being simple?

You’ll find out tomorrow.

BETTER HALF is funny, messy, unpredictable, and deeply human. A story about love, marriage, friendship, family, and the choices that test all of them.

Characters you’ll love.
Characters you’ll question.
And a few you may recognise a little too well.

BETTER HALF.
Tomorrow on Africa Magic.

Come watch. Come feel. Come pick your side.

IG tried to do me dirty in my last post.

Some characters you play.

Some characters you meet.

And then there are the ones that make you look at yourself a little differently.

Rex Momodu is one of those for me.

He’s funny. He’s flawed. He has rules. He has scars. He says what he means, means what he says, and somehow still finds himself in situations he swore he’d never be in.

Tomorrow, you get to meet him.

But first, thank you to my EP & Director @rogbathebaron my SP @biolabelle and the entire team @paladincreativestudio for trusting me with Rex and creating the kind of environment where we could truly create.

And to this incredible cast, what a gift you’ve been. Somewhere between the reads, takes, laughs, long days and madness, you stopped feeling like colleagues and became family. I’m grateful for every scene, every laugh, every conversation, and every moment we shared making this.

BETTER HALF is finally here.

Tomorrow, come meet Rex Momodu.

And don’t judge him too quickly. You might find yourself understanding him more than you expected.

🎭 Rex Momodu.
Don David.

Tomorrow.

Watch. Listen. Feel.

Playing Ernest has been one of the greatest joys of my career so far, and easily one of the most challenging.

If you’ve seen The Polygamist, let’s just say Ernest and Jonasi could probably sit down over a drink and exchange a few notes on women 😅

@rogbathebaron and @biolabelle, thank you for taking me seriously, for giving me the opportunity to audition, and ultimately trusting me with a character that gave me so much to dig into as an actor.

I really loved playing this man. The good, the bad, the complicated and everything in between. And I can genuinely say this may be some of my best work yet.

I’m very proud of this one, and I can’t wait for you all to meet Ernest.

Better Half premieres tomorrow, October 5th, on Africa Magic Showcase — DStv Channel 151 — at 8:30pm, and continues every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

See you on the other side.

It started with an open call audition. And we worried we might not get the right fit. Boy were we wrong. The table read was such a confirmation we didn’t need to worry. The reactions were priceless. We have been cooking and on Monday we feast. I hope you all love it as much as we loved making it.
