Happy Anniversary!!! 20 years, in the blink of an eye! I won’t bore the internet with all the super sappy stuff, but I will say that I love you more and more every day, I think you are an incredible, beautiful person, a total babe, and I am very, very lucky to be able to do life with you. Ok got a little sappy, oops! Here’s to another 20 bajillion years! I did some digging through the photo archives and found a photo from every year that we’ve been together. It’s always cool to look back at photos from the start of the summer garden compared to where it ended up. Always a lot of learning, guessing, and hoping stuff works out. And then of course being stoked when it does work out! At this point, everything has pretty much run its course aside from the habaneros and poblanos, but we had a good run! Maine 2026 phone dump! Alyse and I drove up to Maine last week, to hang on the pond for a few days with her sister and some friends. It was a quick trip with a lot of driving, but 100% worth it. Good people, good food, good weather, good fishing, good times! Hope to do it again next year! Went to see Big Stinky, aka Lady Macdeath (actual name) at 7am today. Missed the peak, but brought a camera anyways, because who knows if or when we’ll have the chance again to see a flower that only exists in a specific region/rainforest, takes 10 years to bloom, and only blooms for 24-48 hours. #ladymacdeath #corpseflower #norfolkbotanicalgarden

A little late here, but wanted to say thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! Means a ton! Here are a few phone photos from the birthday weekend (and a couple days after.) Hung with friends, went kayak fishing, ate a breakfast burrito, rode bicycles, saw some tall ships, ate sushi, rode motorcycles, ate ice cream, picked beans from the garden, took a cat nap, pickled things, had a fire, made s’mores, helped a friend fix a car, drank rum runners, and ate shrimp + oysters. Extra special thanks to Alyse for taking Theo day off and making sure we had a killer time all day long!

Some recent yard activity. These bluebirds have been holed up in the bluebird house for a little while now. Long enough that Alyse has had to come up with some extreme tactics (disco balls and pinwheels) to keep the house sparrows away. Anyways, turns out my lunch time is also their lunch time, so I grabbed these photos today. Also pictured is a baby bunny, who you cannot tell is a baby in these photos, but I assure you he is tiny.

Hard post for Danny’s big FOUR ZERO. Happy birthday man! I love you like a brother, which makes sense, since we are brothers.
