2022 was just the beginning 💪🏾

Although founded in 2020, this year we officially obtained our 501(c)3 and tax exempt status. We applied for and secured nearly $100K in grant funding and received donations from approximately 10 donors in just 3 weeks of launching our Giving Campaign!

We hosted and/or participated in over 15 events, participated in 2 podcast episodes, registered approx. 25 voters, secured voting commitments from almost 100 people, had 20 people bike to the polls with us during early voting, and provided discounted Lyft rides to the polls on Election Day!

3 board members, 1 staff member, 6 interns, and some really amazing volunteers kept our operations afloat -- and we can't forget the dopest organization: Houston in Action for all their technical knowledge and motivational support!

We hope you're ready for this year because 1) we have a dope Organizing Institute that will be launched this Spring and 2) there's another election in Houston this November!

Thank you to every single supporter! We are small but impactful and we are committed to ballot education and increasing the number of Engaged Voters each year! 🤍❤️💙
