Thank you, Columbia!

Today is our last day being open in Columbia. Time flies when you're serving great coffee to great people. We'll remember so many faces thanks to your consistent support, whether you enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie and cortado or a croissant B.E.C., sub sausage (always). Thank you for being our community.

Everyone who came into this space shaped it, and we know the value of the time you spent with us. We're truly grateful. Our PSC journey has been full of twists today and turns tomorrow, but it's always an adventure. Here's to tomorrow's adventure.

Prince Street Cafe turns 20 today.

Jess and I moved to Lancaster in 2006, the same year crystalroselle opened the cafe. In those early years, I spent countless hours there working on my laptop. It became my third space: a place for work, friendships, holiday parties upstairs in the studio, and so much more. Later, it became part of raising our kids, too. So many of our photos show them growing up at the cafe. It was an anchor for me then and has remained one through all the changes and struggles that come with owning a business.

I’ve been Crystal’s business partner since January 2015, so we’re going on 12 years together. It’s hard to believe how quickly that time has gone.

The cafe has always been a special place, and that comes back to Crystal. She has cared for it and the people around it with steadiness and generosity for 20 years. I’m proud to be her partner and grateful for the role Prince Street Cafe has played in my life.

A huge thank you to Brit for putting together another fun (and caffeine-filled ☕😉) Coffee Crawl!
It was exactly the reset I needed from the chaos that back-to-school season brings. Sometimes all it takes is good friends, great conversations, and a few delicious drinks to refill your cup.
One of my favorite parts is getting to support so many amazing local small businesses along the way. Every stop reminds me how lucky we are to have such passionate people pouring their hearts into our community. ❤️

📍 Fairview Park, Columbia, PA (West Hempfield Twp)
This park has 2 playground areas very close to each other & the one in the shade was recently redone! It used to be a little slide & a fun pipe barn & now it’s a big new green structure with lots to swing/climb/slide on! I’m not sure when it was remodeled-sometime this year!
🛝: 2 playground areas with grass and trees in between but pretty close to each other; both on mulch, playground closer to parking lot is in full sun, has a few slides, ‘big kid’ swings & bucket swings & monkey bars.
The lower playground is new & big with multiple slides & monkey bars. It has partial shade and 2 swinging benches for adults to watch. Benches are in sun (at least in the morning).
🌳: 🎾🏀 🏐 ⚾️ 🏒 frisbee golf; pavilion near playground
🚽: Restroom building next to playground
🅿️: Parking lot next to playground
☕️🍦: Nearest local coffee & ice cream: @homegoodiesandcoffee (has both) , @coffeeandcream_columbia (has both) and @princestcafe are all in downtown Columbia only 7 min away. @trolleylinecoffee is 9 min away.
📚: Nearest Library: @columbialibrary24 is 6 min away
