This week we are asking people of conscience to call on Bernie Sanders to endorse a permanent ceasefire. As Senators prepare to exit Washington and enjoy their break, nearly 100 Palestinians are killed each day. By the time the Senate convenes in early January, we can anticipate at least 1400 more deaths, the majority of whom are women and children. If you agree that the killing must end, please take 15 seconds to contact Senator Sanders via the link in bio, which also has an email script you are welcome to use.

This week we are shining a spotlight on Columbia’s suppression of its chapters of Jewish Voice for Peace and Students for Justice in Palestine. By silencing students’ ability to peacefully protest, the administration of Columbia is complicit in the intensifying genocide of the Palestinian people. Alarming assaults on activist speech are becoming increasingly common across American institutions of higher education, but by sending a message to Columbia, we can bolster the brave student voices across the country who are tirelessly working for a ceasefire.
