Words cannot express the absolute honor it is to wear TEXAS across my chest after years of reaching for this dream. ♥️

Firstly, to Tracy Crist, the Crist Company, the Judges and all the pageant staff, Thank you for allowing me to opportunity to serve Texas as Miss Texas for America Strong 2026. This years production was amazing and I enjoyed every moment from orientation to finals night! 👑

Thank you to my friends and family who cheered me on near and far, those who contributed to my preparation, and everyone who believed in me. I could not have made it on this stage without you! Especially from my top 3 cheerleaders, my mom Kristie, my fiancé Nathan, and my business partner, Gladys. Being my cheerleaders this past weekend meant so much.

I am honored to have also won the Best in Interview, Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown, and Director’s Award. 🥇

2026 has been good to me, but it’s just getting started! I am so excited to represent Texas in Las Vegas this August at the Miss for America National Pageant! 🇺🇸

When people ask me about my twin… I smile from ear to ear and tell them more than they may want to hear. I brag on her, I tell them how amazing she’s doing in life, I tell them how we’re the same person… just in different fonts. I tell them she’s the cool one. The unique one. The one who doesn’t care about showing who she is and being judged for it. The one with a different music taste than mine, and one who has a much cooler vibe.

You see, I will never stop doing that. I tell them how much I admire my twin. Then they ask the inevitable “So you can feel when she’s hurt? Can y’all read each other’s minds? The truth is. Way more than you know. Not cause of some “special twin telepathy”. Because when she’s happy, I’m happy. When she feels sadness, I feel that same amount.

This weekend my beautiful twin competed in the Miss Texas pageant and absolutely blew it out of the water. (Her first pageant ever, but you couldn’t tell.).
She got second to someone who’s whole life is pageants. My twin? Her first time ever walking a stage like that. To get second is such an achievement but she doesn’t see it like that. But here I am to tell you.
My twin was 100% herself on that stage. She showed her personality which I love. She showed her spunkiness. She showed them who she truly is. All of the parts I love about her. I wish she knew the very thing she may be beating herself up for, is the courage I wish I had. The confidence she has. I will never stop being so proud to be her twin. To be her biggest fan.

Now…. This weekend I was full on “pageant mom” mode. Steaming dresses, gluing rhinestones to anything she wanted them on, getting up way too early to do her hair for 2 hours, being her right hand. We’re already prepping for next year.. cause it was so much fun.

I’m proud of you and cannot wait to see where this journey takes you. 🤍

countless hours, 432 treats, almost 20 lbs of flour, too many sticks of butter to count and maybe some tears. (from me) we did it! we completed our biggest order yet. Proud is an understatement, but so is tired. 😂 Now off to all of our other Christmas orders! Work never stops! 🤍🎄🍪 proud of u twinny 🩷
