50 shades of neon 🕶️ There’s only one person I could have asked to find me a print to go in a random frame and mount I spotted in @the_art_studio_uk Thanks to @printgarageiain for getting the brief! 💕 #neon #frame #print

I shared this in my stories, but realised I wanted to be able to look back at this, so am sharing It on my grid too. A tiny, but utterly exquisite Hummingbird Hawk Moth in our garden last night!

It looked SO much like a teeny tiny bird and its wings moved so fast they were almost unseeable in real life... Just magical.

Thanks for capturing these pics @printgarageiain

A super satisfying batch of grids on fabric screen printed by the tremendous @printgarageiain ready for Saturday's 'North American Smocking' Masterclass at @unittwelve.
There are still a few places left, so be quick if you want one- link in bio to join the fun.

Pssst do scroll ➡️ to see films of these being printed.

In this North American Smocking Masterclass Jennifer will teach four of her very favourites: Floral (Flower Pattern) Smocking, Lozenge (Grid) Smocking. Lattice (Trellis) Smocking and Arrowhead (Dragon Scale) Smocking. With these particular techniques the back is just as beautiful as the front, and Jennifer has been experimenting with embracing the threads that trail over to the next stitch..

Just finished these for a client: 2 x waxed natural oak box frames that perfectly complement these delicious prints by @printgarageiain , stocked here at Vibrant matter, along with many other beautiful but affordable hand-pulled screenprints by Iain in the following images. The last image is my favourite print, which I framed in a waxed beech wood box frame, which is ready and waiting to be claimed by a future customer with excellent taste!

Come and visit Vibrant Matter this Friday and Saturday from 10-5 for other great prints, ceramics, books and of course our exhibition ‘What Persists’.
