On 7/25/26, Valentino passed away peacefully in my arms surrounded by his friends and loved ones

Valentino was born on 11/14/22, and from the very beginning I knew there was something special about him. Out of all his brothers and sisters, he was the only black and white one. While all the other puppies were going crazy in the kennel, Valentino was off in the corner by himself just chilling. I remember seeing him and immediately knowing he was different

I brought him home on Valentine’s Day, which is how he got the name Valentino. I figured with a name like that he had to be a sweetheart, and that is exactly what he became

He was loved and adored everywhere we went. Valentino didn’t just get to live a dog’s life. He got to live one hell of a life. We traveled coast to coast together on countless flights, tried different food everywhere we went, visited MLB and NFL stadiums cheering on our Astros or our Steelers

Unfortunately, Valentino developed a growth in his spine near his brain. I knew what was eventually coming, and I could not allow him to suffer or wait until he lost all of his motor functions. Making the decision to let him go was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but he deserved to leave this world with his dignity, surrounded by love, and knowing I was right there with him until the very end

I’ll always be thankful for every flight, every game, every trip, every meal, every laugh, and every memory we got to make together. From walking down the isle of weddings to walking with other doggies in the sky, Three and a half years was nowhere near enough time, but somehow Valentino packed more life and love into those years than some get in a lifetime

Rest easy, Tino. Thank you for being my little travel partner, sports buddy, best friend, and one of the sweetest souls I’ll ever know

You were loved everywhere you went, and you always will be
