Eighteen flags rise like monuments, suspended in a state of ascent, between pride and collapse.
Born from the textile traditions of Flanders, each surface carries the memory of touch, labour, devotion, and power.

Six premier companies showcasing six distinct techniques, weaving eighteen unique identities into one collective landscape of rising forms. In collaboration with @depoorterefreres B&T Textilia @greenstreetfabrics @ragolle_rugs Sofa Cover @bekaertdeslee and the social enterprise AAROVA.

ASCENDANT is a textile installation by @charbel.abouzeidan a Lebanese designer based in Kortrijk, whose work lies at the intersection of fashion, architecture and visual arts.

ASCENDANT is the result of Tex Design, a @fedustria initiative that connects Belgian textile companies with creative talent, in collaboration with @designregiok and @pomwestvlaanderen. This year, De Poortere Frères, B&T Textilia, Green Street Fabrics, Ragolle Rugs, Sofa Cover, Bekaert Deslee and the social enterprise AAROVA took part in the project. The creative studio @prismax.be designed the visual content that takes the experience of the installation to the next level.

I'm 13. This summer, I stood in front of the Tomorrowland mainstage for the first time.
On Friday, my first track came out.
One day, it'll be my music playing up there.
Work hard. Dream loud. 🔊🔊🔊 🙏

The structures of the @Tomorrowland mainstage started collapsing revealing the sky behind it! Did you notice the sky was perfectly matched with the real-life sky? (but a little bit different on camera) This was only possible because @prismax.be operated entirely in real-time! #mainstage #tomorrowland #festival #tml26

Hi Mom, we're in the sky. Over the past two weekends, KLSTR was running behind the scenes across 7 Tomorrowland stages, helping lighting crews work faster, troubleshoot smarter and keep shows running without interruption.
The best technology is the kind you barely notice. It simply works. But we couldn't have done this without our amazing internal team and our trusted partners @roxx.light, @ayrtondigital, @prismax.be, @ma_lighting_international.

Last week, Lab of Tomorrow was present at ISE Barcelona, where we engaged with a wide range of industry professionals and innovators.

Throughout the event, we connected with many new contacts and experienced a strong sense of community on the exhibition floor. Together with our partners: @arealtechnologies, @prismax.be, Xine Robotics, @pixelscreen_, @klstr.tech, @fisheye.eu, @timelineio, @llstageservice, So-Lution and @superellipse.be, we demonstrated how collaboration within a shared ecosystem strengthens individual solutions and drives sustainable innovation.

The quality of conversations, the interest in our partners’ technologies, and the openness to collaboration clearly highlighted the value of an ecosystem approach: bringing people, ideas, and technologies together to create long-term impact.
