Carousel of memories from this Durga Pujo 2026 ❤️

I love Durga Puja in Assam but over time I have become fond of Bangalore Durga Pujo as well.

And though I wish I could stretch time a bit more to spend more time with my family, cousins and friends, I know that I am being too greedy.

I am already starting to look forward to 2027 Durga Pujo. On that note, Subho Bijoya Dashami to everyone 🌼

@priyadas06 love your saree and no, you don’t look like that ‘Mahila’ in the background

How is Pujo ever complete without Basanti Pulao and Aloo dum

All about Pose and may be candids, coz we can’t stop gossiping

2025 was a year of a lot of milestones for us as a school. As we usher in the first day of 2026, here is a trip down memory lane - to the highlights of our last year.
.
✨ BEGINNER CLASSES: We started beginner batches in 6 locations - including a new one: Electronic City.
.
✨ SHOWCASES: The school got together to perform at the end of the first semester in April, Sahara Nights. Our beginners also got to perform a conceptual showcase for the very first time in October!
.
✨ ORIGINAL WORK: 'Parikrama- The Journey Within' debuted in Bangalore for the very first time, after its first run in Abhivyakti festival, Ahmedabad. Our latest original work - "To Burn, To Bloom" - was presented in November by Nrityakosh Company and Ensemble.
.
✨ OUR DIRECTOR'S JOURNEY: Our director got to perform and teach at prestigious Cairo! Budapest festival in May. She also got to be part of the International Ensemble for Nesma's "Enta Omri" - she performed with ensemble in Madrid and Montpellier for Arabesque Festival.
.
✨ SPECIAL COURSES: Our strength and conditioning module - Stretch and Strength - resumed last year. The newest special course was "Embodied Storytelling" to help develop students and dancers' skills as performers and creative practitioners.
.
✨ WORKSHOPS: The Nrityakosh Company offered two sets of workshops - 'Urban Raqs' in June and 'Aamad' in November. Before the last hafla of the year, we also had a pop up workshop with a never offered before workshop - burlesque fusion.
.
2025 had lots to offer in terms of growth, joy and community. We are looking forward to 2026! :D

It wasn’t just my first supper club — it was also my first time doing everything:
planning, cooking, filming, hosting, learning (and panicking 😅).

It may not be perfect, but it’s full of heart ❤️

Here’s a peek behind the scenes of how Masala Story came to life — the start of a delicious new chapter 🪔

Thank you so much to @rajat.bhasin @saptak_b9 @priyadas06 @monicapopescu19 - couldn’t have done this without you 🤗

We are completely overwhelmed by the love for the first-ever Masala Story Diwali Supper Club. Thank you to our incredible guest, @mrs.derks for this beautiful feedback (swipe to read it all!).

Masala Story is more than a meal—it’s a cultural journey. We loved sharing the traditions of Diwali, the stories behind the North Indian vegetarian cuisine, and creating an atmosphere where new friendships could spark. Your words truly prove that Food connects people.

A huge thank you to our wonderful guests @monicapopescu19 @dragos.miron23 @helen.steptoe @nico_in_pictures and to the amazing team who made it happen @rajat.bhasin @priyadas06 @saptak_b9

P.S. We heard the request for cooking classes loud and clear! 😉
