"Rhythmic Raindrops," by artist Joyce Crain, has finally found a new home @TooeleTech.

This eye-catching public artwork, formerly titled "Atmosphere," is back on view. As a suspended dichroic acrylic installation consisting of seven grids, this artwork was originally inspired by the atmospheric effect that desert rain produces as it evaporates in the air. 🌵☀️🌧️

It took more than a year of painstaking restoration and planning:
🧵Dedicated hands-on detangling and re-bundling
☝️ Care to only use conservation-safe materials
🛠️ Custom unistrut fabrication to suspend the grids
📍 Detailed coordination to bring this artwork to its new location

The Scott Family Amazeum Topping Out Ceremony marked a major construction milestone for the Expanding Futures Capital Campaign. The final structural steel for The Hangout and the Early Learning Advancement Center was lovingly signed by those committed to the continuation of providing families spaces for learning and exploration in Northwest Arkansas.

Getting to help @processcuriosity launch @mysticozark this year was truly a big highlight. We got to create some really fun experiences for people visiting @hotspringsnps and I got to learn a ton about Arkansas (did you know that the thermal water in Hot Springs NP is the oldest federally protected natural resource in the country?!?!). It took a fantastic team of hooligans to make this immersive experience come to life. Can’t wait for more fun projects like this!!

Mystic Ozark is a new immersive installation inside the historic 1922 Ozark Bathhouse on Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The exhibit uses projection mapping, themed environments, and sound to tell the story of the geothermal waters of Hot Springs National Park.

At @defactosound , we designed the multi-channel audio system with 2.1 stereo plus subs on each wall, aligned with visual focal points to guide attention throughout the space. A sound might highlight a deer, a water source, or happen behind you to make you turn, showing how sound and visuals work together to tell the story.

Excited to share a project we worked on at @defactosound . The historic Ozark Bathhouse in Hot Springs, Arkansas was built in 1922. It has now been reimagined as a museum and features a new immersive installation that tells the story of the geothermal water of Hot Springs.

We designed the multi-channel audio for the exhibit, from the rumble of thunder to the rush of 4,000-year-old geothermal water to the calls of wildlife, creating an experience that makes visitors feel part of the environment.
