I know it’s a bit late for a 2024 recap post, but what can I say? I’d rather not worry about the timing of the moments I share; instead, I prefer to be present and give my time to the people I share those moments with. As I look back on this past year, what stays with me the most are all the laughs and love I’ve had the privilege of experiencing with family and friends—old and new. I’ve also done the most self-reflection of any year to date, and I’m carrying what I’ve learned and observed into 2025, which is already shaping up to be the start of my biggest, most life-changing journey yet. Do I have everything figured out? The lessons of 2024 have given me enough hope and inspiration to outweigh the stress of the answer still being “no.” What is certain is that I now have a much stronger grasp on my morals, values, and self-worth—what I want, and more importantly, what I do NOT want. That also applies to WHO I choose to spend my time with. Above all else, I am happy. Not simply content. I’m thankful for where life has taken me so far, and for the people who have been there for me—especially those who stood by me during times when I couldn’t honestly say I was happy.
