A Moment Of Violence is a special song to me for many reasons. It's the first complete piece of music I started writing with just my voice and a piano. @robbyjfonts came to me with the song title and I immediately knew I wanted to write a song that felt devastatingly heavy. Not heavy in the traditional "metal" song sense, but emotionally heavy. A song that takes you on a rollercoaster till it finally explodes in the end.

When @richierich_bass joined Sicksense he told me his first instrument was violin. I told him one day we'd write a song that would need him to grab the violin again. Then we had Robby step up and pick up the bass in his place. And I played piano. An instrument I'm self taught in that I use primarily as a writing tool. I never thought I'd create a song with it being a focal point.

A Moment Of Violence is filled with loss, pain, grief. It expresses the lengths we'll go to when losing loved ones far too early in life. How our faith is tested during that process, as we question why life is so unfair and cruel. Robby and I have had our fair share of those losses in the last few years. People we thought we'd grow old with and share many more moments together. I'm sure we all have at least one person that was taken from us way too soon.

I hope this song can help you in the same way it helped me as I was writing it. Thank you to my bandmates and our entire team for seeing the vision and adding their own imprint to this very special song 🖤

Beyond excited to share that I had the opportunity to write and perform the guitar solo for the official Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies soundtrack on “Evencry” feat. the legendary @malukah written by @ksherwoodops & @prodbyglide 🎧

I’ve been playing Zombies and solving Easter Eggs with friends ever since Black Ops 1, so getting the chance to contribute to a series that’s been such a big part of my life is something I’ll never forget. Truly a full circle moment.

Crank it up, and I’ll see you in the Dark Aether. 🔮

Seriously though, these boys absolutely cooked on No One There. One of the best new songs to come out, one of the best soundtrack songs to be put on COD, and one of the most insane vocal performances from Vicky.
Fingers crossed for a tour this year, I'm dying to play this one. 🤘🐻🤘
