Happy heavenly birthday O. We feel your absence all the time. No one can prepare for how profound it is to lose a childhood friend suddenly due to no fault of their own. We had no time to hold your hand. To comfort you. To tell you we love you, even though we said that to each other all the time. One day, God willing, this day won’t be so sad and we can celebrate knowing you are free and at peace. I will continue to check on Nikki and the family. We love them too. Rest well in the Kingdom Sid. Hold a spot for us and welcome us home with the best beats you got when we see each other again one day. Love you forever and always. #gonetoosoon @producedbyomen #yme #lag #friendship #love

It's a journey. It goes from being ghetto Chris Fleming to missing @producedbyomen.

I gotta TREAT🎃 for y’all NO 🚫TRICKS💀 ‼️

On September 13 2025 my dear friend family brother decades long collaborator Grammy award winning producer of “THE HOOD IS HERE” “THIH remix“ I’M WITH U” etc etc and one of THE absolute BEST human beings I’ve ever met @producedbyomen was called home. 🫡💜

He and I spoke for over an hr just days before about pretty much everything goin on in life as we normally do and then about a new song we collaborated on.
I played him the mix by @91bambino over the phone and an early edit of a visual I’ve been curating with #BananaGarlic.

He lit🔥 up ! Said “Yeeeoooo that’s wussup !” “That’s dooope!” “You gotta bring dat back to NY to promote, they gon appreciate it !”
I hadn’t been back in a few years. I told him “soon as everything is ready!” And how I wanted to have it out before a project I had due for release before the end of the year…
That convo was on September 3rd. I had no idea it would be our last. 🙏🏿

I DID IT 🕊️Ø🕊️ !!‼️🤞🏿💫

This weekend was special. A few of us gathered in Harlem to witness a masterpiece in the making - a tribute to one of the most gifted and genuine souls to ever touch sound: Sidney “Omen” Brown (Aug 21, 1976 – Sept 13, 2025)[@producedbyomen].

His spirit still moves through every beat, every brushstroke, and every act of kindness he left behind. Omen was one of those rare people who truly wanted to see others win - always ready to help, no matter what you were trying to do or where you were trying to go.

The GPS clip that opened this video somehow recorded itself - a small sign that it was meant to be, that I was meant to be there while this masterpiece came to life.

If you’re ever in Harlem, or want to see him in his element again, head over to 125th & 3rd to see Omen’s mural in person. 🎨 @andre.trenier , you did something powerful here. And while I was there, I listened to a project that Omen recently finished for @jelleestone - another gem waiting to meet the world.

Forever in rhythm. Forever Omen. 🕊️

Let me tell you about a REALLY GOOD OMEN. A man so well loved. Very much liked. Super talented and creative. One of the very few men in entertainment that genuinely respected women and wanted to see us, and everyone, win. A reliable collaborator. Humble. Dope. He co-wrote and co-produced “Mine” by Beyoncé featuring Drake. It’s one of my favorites. @emittsounds and I laughed about how he’d think that TMZ headline was funny. What I loved about his celebration was that everyone who came from near and far to pay homage felt like he was theirs. ✨

It’s been hard to find the words or to post because we still had so much work to do. Don’t know how or if I’ll find another you, but I’m grateful for your life, your light, your gifts, your example he touched every project I’ve done. And even DJ’d at my @thegreenespacenyc Artist In Residency Syd aka O aka @producedbyomen - a 1 of 1. ❤️💔
