🥊 Getting Robert ready!

Taking on a 12-hour Preachathon is no small challenge, and our Team Rector, the Rev Robert Stanier, has been given a serious training routine!

With the epic preaching challenge on September 22 now only days away, Robert has been putting in the work under the supervision of trainer Greg Whyte, including sessions at Richmond’s outdoor gym.

And, of course, there are the Rocky steps! 🏃‍♂️

With dawn-to-dusk preaching ahead, Robert is certainly going to need all that training. Phew!

Stress doesn’t just affect your mind.

It affects your sleep. Your energy. Your recovery.

Your body keeps score - even when you think you’re coping.

Waking up tired has become so normal that many people don’t question it.

But feeling exhausted every morning shouldn’t be the baseline.

@profgregw talks about why we need to stop leaving sleep-and recovery- to chance.

Don’t leave sleep to chance.
