What I wish my younger self knew before college graduation in 2020. 👇🏻

I wish I knew that confidence wouldn’t arrive all at once — it would be built slowly, through moments that humbled me, stretched me, and forced me to start over more than once.

I wish I knew that some of the things I was most certain about would eventually fall apart. Not because I failed, but because I outgrew them. That heartbreak, disappointment, and uncertainty would become some of my greatest teachers — even when they felt unbearable in the moment.

I wish I knew that the version of me standing at graduation didn’t need to be braver, louder, or more accomplished — just willing. Willing to keep going when things didn’t look the way I imagined. Willing to trust that clarity would come after the leap, not before.

There would be seasons where I felt behind. Seasons where I questioned myself deeply. Seasons where life asked more of me than I thought I could give. And still — I would meet those moments with more strength than I ever gave myself credit for.

If you’re graduating soon and feeling a mix of excitement and quiet fear, know this: you’re not weak for feeling unsure. You’re human. And the life ahead of you will shape you in ways that feel impossible to understand right now — but one day, you’ll look back and realize just how much you overcame.

This is just the beginning. And it’s okay if it feels tender. 💛
