Money lessons I'm taking with me 💚💰 I joined The Y3 Webinar by and here's what I learnt: 1️⃣ Beware of impulse buying 2️⃣ Save before you spend 3️⃣ Track where your money goes 4️⃣ Don't just save, invest 5️⃣ Have a reason for saving 6️⃣ Keep business and personal funds separate As the owner of Rukky's Vision Supplies, this is already shaping how I run things: clear records, separate accounts, and saving with purpose. Better money habits = a stronger business. 📈 Thank you Dr. Progress Aghedo & Osayande Blessing Abiemwense for the value! 🙏

Let me be honest with you. I dreaded the beginning of writing my project. I procrastinated writing for a long time. you could call it “analysis paralysis”. at some point, I assumed it would be difficult to write it myself, impossible even. but soon after my project supervisor refined my topic, and I had prepared and defended my seminar presentation, I knew I had to begin somewhere. and there came the juggle between classes and clinicals, tutoring and just living.. I honestly found it hard to strike a balance. I was not prepared for the task of doing my thesis and the toll it was going to take on me. I would never have been actually, if I had kept stalling. I had to do the actual work; Read, Research, Reach out to my study participants, Perform the research procedures, Collate the data, Analyze, Study. Write. Review. Repeat. to the penultimate & final year student reading this, I’m not saying all these to overwhelm you, not at all. I’m showing you that it is possible to do it despite any circumstance you may face, or any doubt you may have. You’d be so proud of yourself in the end, trust me!😌 I had a successful project defence. and you too can! God saw me through every single phase. And He divinely placed awesome people in my life, who were genuine motivators all the way. What a good good God!🥹❤️ #projectdefencedone #gratefulheart❤️ #thesiswriting #creativissy

The past few weeks have been busy, but incredibly fulfilling. On 17 July, I concluded my externship at @tesuwa_eye_clinic, Abuja, and on 23 July, I successfully defended my externship as part of the requirements for completing my Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree at the University of Benin. 🎓👁️ On 24 July, I joined the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare’s 5th National Coordination Workshop on Eye Health in Abuja, organized by the National Eye, Ear and Sensory Functions Health Programme, under the leadership of Dr. Oteri Eme Okolo. From 29 July – 2 August, I attended the African Council of Optometry & the Nigerian Optometric Association Conference at NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja. Major highlights were the SVOSH meeting with Prof. Tuwani Rasengane. - Exhibiting @know_the_glow alongside @angel.aroaye - Presenting the @optoglobe and @optometrygivingsight ETF poster with @ekeleni3amos , sharing findings from our Global Needs Assessment Survey. A beautiful season of clinical training, academic growth, research, advocacy, and leadership.

I remember my signout day like it was yesterday. Words may not suffice as I try to wrap my head around my emotions, as I reflect on the journey thus far.🥹 the daily lectures, every exam, the late and sleepless nights, the pressure, the expectations, the moments of doubt, the deadlines, the breakdowns— but also, the successes, the achievements, the answered prayers and the divine interventions. I’m grateful for the grace to draw closer to God, to grow, to love, to serve, and for the experiences that made me stronger and wiser. and I thank God for the gift of having a supportive family and solid relationships that kept me grounded. the same God that saw me through my academic years in Optometry school, is the same God that carried me throughout 2025. His word says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, that His grace is all I need, for His power is greatest when I’m weak. and the same way I signed out of Optometry school with so much gladness in my heart? it is the same way I have signed out of 2025 with a grateful and content heart— God is ever faithful, and I could neverrrr have come this far without Him. God be praised, now and forever!🥹🙌🏾 and cheers to a wholesome new year!🥳 #signout #2025seasoncomestoanend #christiansofinstagram #catholicgirl

"In some ways, the biggest gift that time leaves us is the memories we have of loving others. That's why, before it's too late you have to shove embarrassment aside and confess your love to your loved ones" This is a line from one of my favorite K-drama which resonates with me deeply 2025 has been a blessed year and one of the blessings I'm grateful for is the gift of men and wholesome friendship. This pictures and videos are just but a little fraction of memories we built together. The memories, laughter and joy that will forever remain in my heart🤍♥️ It's a few days to the end of the year and what better time to remind y'all that I love you😊 I love you my friendsssss!!!❤️🥰♥️ I really really do❤️
