Humbled to be felicitated as a Bizruptor at Her Circle’s third Bizruptors series this evening. I had a one-year anniversary post planned, The Chic Indian turns one on 1st July, but today summed it up better than I could have.

As I sat alongside fellow entrepreneurs, a few thoughts echoed my own journey:
🚀 An idea is just an idea until it’s executed and that takes courage, discipline, being agile and showing up even when nothing is going to plan, something I’m relearning right now as I build the next chapter of @thechicindian, taking a step towards solving the inventory challenge with @project.secondseason
🚀 Just how much a strong support system matters, because the solo founder journey can get lonely fast
🚀 The discipline of shutting out the noise and just building, the “why” that has to be strong enough to carry you through the every day and for the long term
🚀 How public the process of building a startup really is - it truly is the willingness to look foolish repeatedly, and risk failing in front of everyone watching

Grateful to have been in a room full of disruptors across wellness, healthcare, skin care, fashion, food, finance, interiors, sustainability and more - listening to their journeys, the struggles, and a collective shattering of stereotypes that comes from sharing them out loud.
