Seven women. Countless stories. We gathered to exchange clothing and left having exchanged something much more valuable: perspective. Better than any mirror, these women offered encouragement, and, when necessary, compassionate permission to let something go. A reflection on a storytelling clothing swap, inherited style, and the stories we wear. New on Essere: The Art of Being. Link in bio.

Sometimes a dress is just a dress. And sometimes it’s something else: Permission to be seen. Permission to take up space. Permission to inhabit your own brightness without apology. This was one of those moments. And you wear it so well @evgeniia_g @spaceyqueller @project_1490 #storytellingclothingswap

This week’s NYC Women of Hospitality event, co-hosted with Women in Travel Thrive, was a powerful reminder of the impact that happens when women come together across industries to connect, collaborate, and support one another. From hospitality to travel, the conversations throughout the evening centered on leadership, professional growth, community, and creating more opportunities for women to thrive both personally and professionally. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their experiences, and contributed to such an inspiring and meaningful evening. Events like these highlight the value of intentional networking and the importance of fostering spaces where women can learn from one another, build relationships, and grow together. A special thank you to our sponsors and allies for helping make the evening possible: • Proximo Spirits & Karlene Palmer-McLeod • The Nomadic Jeweler, LLC & Sydney Miller • Hotel on Rivington & Michelle Mu Sharma • Cloudbeds • Circle Line Cruises • Expedia • Project 1490 We’re excited for what’s ahead for both of these communities and for the continued collaboration between women helping shape the future of hospitality and travel in New York City. #WomenInHospitality #WomenInTravel #NYCWOH #Leadership #HospitalityIndustry

On the Say YES to yourself! podcast, we highlight the stories of women incorporating this self care practice in big and small ways. I have LOVED every conversation I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of. And it continues to be my favorite thing of all the fun and fabulous things I do. As the summer filled up with dreamy opportunities these conversations continued to air but I got behind in posting. We’re all doing the best we can with the tools we have! These women are up to BIG things in the world and I’m honored to sign a light on their goodness. Thank you to @project_1490 @drnekeshiahammond @sylvie.mazerolle Listen in, tell me what you think! I’m eager to hear your takeaways. These episodes are available wherever you listen to podcasts. #sayyestoyourself #newpodcastepisode
