Some cars are built to be seen.
Others look like they were built to be unleashed. 🏁

Two cars. One city. Zero bad angles. 🔥

The Corvette brings the attitude. The Mercedes brings the presence.

But if you could only pick ONE for a midnight cruise through Chicago… which one gets the keys? 👀

Smoke in the air. 🏍️💨
Chicago in the background. 🌆
And absolutely no plans to let off. 🔥

Some views are better with a little tire smoke.

Would you send it or save the tires? 👀

Our June Members Mixer couldn’t have gone any better. Great people, incredible cars, amazing food, drinks, and cigars, all made possible by our incredible partners at @chicagochophouse and @biggsmansion .

At Chicago Car Collective, we’re more than just car storage, we’re a community. That’s why we host 2–3 exclusive member events every month.

Want to be part of the next one? Send us a DM and don’t miss out. 🏁

I finally went to Gridlife midwest (@gridlifefest). Even on a rainy last day, it didn’t disappoint.

This weekend I was invited by N Club Midwest (@nclubmidwest ) thank you for having me. I wasn’t there Saturday, which is supposedly the most special day of the whole event. But Sunday, rain and all, with people already starting to pack up m, still incredible.

You can walk right up to the cars. Right up to the mechanics working on them. You’re basically a meter away from the track. Drivers walking around you. The festival energy doesn’t stop just because it’s raining or the last day.

This is not a racing event. This is not a concert. It’s both plus drifting, plus a car show from everything happening around you. Next year I’m doing the full weekend. You should too.

A special thank you to Chris (@projectautomoto ), who told me about this event, explained everything, and gave us a tour while we were there. Genuinely kind and welcoming, that kind of hospitality makes the whole experience even better.

What if a car race and a music festival happened at the exact same time? That’s Gridlife (@gridlifefest . Save this post si you don’t miss it!

Gridlife Midwest Festival — June 12-14, 2026 at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI. About 2.5 hours from Chicago. Now in its 13th year and still the most unique car event on the calendar.

Here’s what you get:

🏁 By day: wheel to wheel racing, drifting, time attack, car showcases and full paddock access with zero barriers between you and the action

🎵 By night: a full multi stage music festival. Headliners Crankdat and Tape B, plus Borgore, Ray Volpe, INZO and more. This is not background music, it’s a full concert.

Additionally you’ll find sim rigs, vintage arcade games, Karts going around, ping pong and more. And bring your build and park it in the center of the action all weekend.

Camping on site is priced per car so split it with your crew.

Someone who has attended for the last six years described it to me like this:

“It’s Forza Horizon and Coachella at a racetrack. It is a serotonin overload. When you get home on Sunday you’re going to crash and think, when can I do this again? It is the craziest drug I’ve ever found in my life. And that drug is being surrounded by the definition of community.”

His advice? Don’t put it on your bucket list. Put it on your priority list.
