Your SL3 pinky has been floating in the air this whole time. This fixes it.

This is the Modular FlexPlate in Black Chrome, on our own Leica SL3-S. Final production model, and it is about to start shipping.

Start with the ledge, because it is the one you feel first. The SL3 runs out of grip right where your pinky wants to land, so it floats or curls under the body, and it gets worse with a heavy lens on the front. The FlexPlate extends the base into a proper pinky ledge, so all four fingers finally have somewhere to sit. The camera stops fighting your hand.

The rest, in one plate:

Concealed Arca Profile at the base, straight onto a tripod or clamp.
Concealed AirTag compartment, tracking built in and hidden.
Double SD storage, two emergency slots, one external, one internal.
Dual 1/4-20 threads.
Anti-skid rubber so it stays put.
Side lug for strap options that do not block the base.

Machined from a slab of aluminum to the micron, tumbled, sandblasted, Type III hardcoat anodized, hand assembled in Miami.

It fits all three SL3 variants, the SL3, SL3-S, and the new SL3-P. Same body, one plate covers them all. Earlier SL bodies are not compatible, this is SL3 generation only.

Small batches, machined and assembled by hand, and the SL3 crowd has been waiting on this one. It is finally shipping. If your pinky has been floating this whole time, this is the fix.

Would a pinky ledge change how you shoot your SL3? Tell us in the comments.

Black a paint FlexGrio! Should we push for full production? 👇

The finish you have been asking for is here.

This is a brand new FlexGrip for the Leica M11 in a black paint finish. Enough of you asked for this one that we finally built a small batch, and this is your first look at it.

Getting here took some doing. It starts as machined solid brass. From there the parts go into tumbling, then a fine sandblast with ceramic media to set the surface. Then they leave our floor and go to a shop nearby, right here in Miami, for the Cerakote. Once they come back to us, we apply that initial patina finish by hand.

And yes, this one arrives with the patina already accelerated. That is deliberate. Cerakote over brass is prone to scratching, so instead of fighting it we lean into it. The patina lets the piece wear in rather than wear out, which is exactly right for something you carry every day. It only gets better looking as you use it.

We would also make it available in the M.O.A.K. kit, where the grip, the EyeKup, the HotGrip, the M Body Cap and the rest of the accessories all come matched in this same finish.

Comment below if you want to see this go into full production. That is genuinely how we decide.
