It’s Fall Favorites time at @projectrunandplay! And good thing I sewed up this outfit because the temperature has finally cooled down.

This was my first time partnering with @carriagehouseprinteryfabric and their fabric was so good to work with! The turtleneck top is the Heather Top/Dress from @andsewshesings in lightweight cotton spandex. I adore the puff sleeves and my daughter wasn’t sure about the turtleneck at first, but then loved how cozy it was!
The pants are the Metro Pants from @sucobysusana in essex linen. They are true to size and add a little bit sophistication to the look, while make it still play worthy.

The bag is the FREE book bag from @projectrunandplay in gingham canvas. Bag charms and ribbons are all the rage, so we added a personalized touch to her new library bag.

I was a little nervous ordering prints from different collections and designers on the @carriagehouseprinteryfabric website, but they all pulled together nicely! Every fabric I worked with with was well printed, soft and the colors were beautiful.

You can find all of these patterns in the @projectrunandplay shop!

Fabrics are all from @jellyfabrics ! For Lily's pretty pumpkins I used Jelly Fabtics fabulous Print your own service which is all done in-house, eco-friendly fabric printing here in the UK, so turn around is super fast and quality is amazing. @projectrunandplay Fall Favourites is here!

How beautiful is Lagoon with the bubble skirt option! My daughter and I are both obsessed with it! We went for a long sleeve as its getting chilly here in the Uk and I'm so happy we did as its so on trend!
Huge thank you to @jellyfabrics for this beautiful print you own and Print on demand fabric! The quality is amazing and its such a quick turn around.

Sewing for granddaughters is so much fun! I found this cute little #sagedress pattern from #peonypatterns downloaded on my phone from years ago and decided it was definitely time to sew it up.

These are the other two baby outfits that I sewed!

I wanted to try a @vintagelittleladysewingpattern pattern and their Chloe baby dress is free!

@projectrunandplay just added the Lillian Pintucked Top pattern so I wanted to try that one too and paired it with Frances Leggings.

Of course some farm themed @shinebrightlabelco faux leather labels were needed too!

All the details are on the blog!

This was my favorite outfit! I love the different textures- sherpa, corduroy, and soft cotton spandex. Of course I had to add a label from @shinebrightlabelco on the back pocket of the pants!

Patterns are Chromium (modified) and Waratah from @projectrunandplay and the Ringer Tee from @brindilletwig.

Get all the details on the blog!

That’s a lot of french knots!

This All-in-One Alphabet banner was fun to put together. I think choosing the fabrics took longer than sewing the banner!

I took a little break from canning tomatoes to get some sewing done! @projectrunandplay added a bunch of NEW patterns for Back to School and I got to work with premium fabrics from @artgalleryfabrics to make a new outfit for my niece.

She wanted some Waratah Wide Leg Pants (from @wavesandwild) and I used linen blend with some added topstitching and a @shinebrightlabelco horse label on the back pocket.

That horse ties into the Vlinderaas Blouse (from @theelimonster) - I made the collar/bow in a different fabric just because I wanted to see what it looked like. It's cute! I was super picky about how I cut the horses so they'd be centered!

Anyway, all the details and links are in a blog post! (Yes, I actually published one of those for a change! I had some help with the tomatoes today and I am procrastinating on cleaning out the quack shack.)

Progress on Red! I originally thought I would be doing a paneled circle skirt, but decided a pleated skirt made more sense. I'm using the Pine skirt from @projectrunandplay as a starting point but rather than evenly spaced pleats, I'm just making pleats where the panels come together. Between that and the jagged hem, this skirt needed a lot of math! I painted those acrylic hearts for the belt buckle using acrylic paint pens but I'm probably going to seal them with a clear top coat nail polish. The jacket also took a lot of math to alter the pattern pieces to achieve the shape I want. I'll be cutting into the fabric next, so we'll see if I did it right!

🔠✨ Back to school! ✨🔠

I had so much fun putting this little outfit together for the @projectrunandplay Back to School Event!

I paired a sweet white eyelet top with this gorgeous deep blue linen skirt from @naturesfabrics. The contrast of the delicate eyelet with the structured linen reminds me of classic school-day outfits.

There’s just something extra special about making my kids back to school clothes. Even if it's back to homeschool. 😁😁😁 Show me your favorite back to school makes! ⬇️⬇️
