Some legends deserve a second life. 🏁

Once a PCA GT1 race car, this Porsche 993 even competed at Rennsport Reunion II back in 2004. Its full racing history remains a bit of a mystery, but one thing is certain — this car has stories to tell.

Eventually, this once-competitive machine found itself sidelined, no longer running.

Then came @down.to.nothing who saw more than a broken race car. He saw a piece of Porsche history worth saving.

Stripped down, rebuilt, and brought back to life wearing a nostalgic PlayStation x Gran Turismo-inspired livery. 🎮🏎️

Fast forward to Luft 12, where this 993 is once again turning heads and making memories.

And the next chapter? The owner hopes to make it street legal. 👀

From the racetrack to a second chance on the streets. This is what Porsche culture is all about. 🤝

From @luftgekuhlt with love. Check out some snippets from an amazing event with our friends
@down.to.nothing and @dspeedphotography. We’re over the moon because so many people got to see Ian’s abandoned 911 Turbo come to life and drive under its own power, along with so many other amazing Porsche greats packed under one roof. Ian isn’t done just yet… stay tuned.

From dead and abandoned for over a decade…. It’s finally alive. Not sure how to process the feeling yet as the level of work and hundreds of hours put into this car felt never ending. But we made it. It starts and moves, now to find a tuner that can give it a proper tune. More to come. #porsche #911 #930 #993 #racecar

How do you not get emotional about this. I feel like I’m powering up an abandoned GUNDAM. #porsche #911 #racecar #993 #911turbo
