Eine der coolsten Sachen unserer aktuellen Ausstellung über die Rockszene Sarajevos (1980–1992), realisiert vom @exyurockcentar, ist das interaktive Albumcover „Dok čekaš sabah sa šejtanom“ von Zabranjeno Pušenje. Der Titel lässt sich übersetzen als „Während du mit dem Teufel auf das Morgengrauen wartest“. (Wobei Iblis, Azazil oder Schaitan korrekter wären.)

Wer also wie ich mit dem Teufel* anstoßen will, der komme ins PCB! 😈

Zabranjeno Pušenje zählt zu den wichtigsten Vertretern der Bewegung New Primitivism, die in Jugoslawien als eigenständige, ironische Reaktion auf New Wave und Punk entstand. Diese zeichnet sich unter anderem dadurch aus, dass es in den Songs um die „kleinen Leute“ – Arbeiter, Kneipenbekanntschaften, Kleinkriminelle – in absurden Situationen geht und bosnischer Jargon und Slang Einzug in die Lyrics fanden. Außerdem gilt die Abwesenheit von Stil auf der Bühne als entscheidend, ebenso wie der Punk-Spirit des „Einfach Machens“, selbst wenn man keinen Gitarrenunterricht hatte.

🎭 Was kann Drag eigentlich alles sein? Beim zweitägigen „Drag’n’Roll“-Workshop des @projektraumpcb konnten Jugendliche mit Make-up, Kostümen, Performance und Video experimentieren und ihre eigenen Drag-Personas entwickeln.

💄 Ganz nach dem Motto „too much gibt’s beim Drag nicht“, waren die zwei Tage bunt und aufregend. Wie der Workshop für die Jugendlichen war und was dabei entstanden ist, lest ihr im vollständigen Bericht über den Link in unserer Bio.

Der Workshop wurde mit Mitteln aus dem Aktionsfonds des Quartiersmanagements Soldiner Straße/Wollankstraße finanziert.

Thanks to everyone for an amazing opening night in Berlin! There was a great turnout for the launch of the Ex-Yu Rock Centar's "Šokiraš me, majke mi!" exhibition at Prima Centar Berlin. Check out some photos here from the launch event.

The exhibition on the Sarajevo rock scene (1980-1992) will last for two weeks only in Berlin until 30 October 2026. Don't miss it!

A big thank you to Prima Center Berlin for being such a great host and to Hazemina Đonlić for creating a great vibe at the gallery with her excellent singing and guitar playing of many Ex-Yu rock classics throughout the night.

…The beautiful and the uncomfortable can no longer be neatly disentangled.
Printed on soft textile, bound by heavy resin, and pierced by steel needles, the photograph behaves as a body that can be wounded, stretched, and folded.
Lace encloses an insect. Flowers surface next to grime. The needle mends, but it also inevitably pierces.
It explores the abject—disrupting the stability of our boundaries, possessing a strange power to hold the gaze even when it provokes discomfort…

На 19.06.2026 година присуствувавме на отворањето на изложбата „Echo“ на македонската уметница Ана Ивановска во PRIMA Center Berlin @projektraumpcb .

Изложбата „Echo“ преку фотографии, објекти и инсталации ги обработува современите глобални кризи и нивното влијание врз човекот и општеството, отворајќи простор за размислување за ранливоста, стравот, трансформацијата и можноста за нови почетоци.

На 23.06.2026 во PRIMA Center Berlin исто така беше отворањето на изложбата „поПусто-исто“ на Марија Сотировска Богдановска. Изложбата претставува критика на современото потрошувачко општество, поттикнувајќи ги посетителите да размислат за вистинската цена на потрошувачката и сопствената улога во тој систем.

Честитки до Ана Ивановска и Марија Сотировска Богдановска за успешната работа и благодарност до PRIMA Center Berlin за поканата и гостопримството.

Како здружение кое активно работи на промоција на македонската култура и уметност во Берлин, ни претставува особена чест да поддржуваме иницијативи што ги претставуваат македонските автори пред меѓународната публика и придонесуваат за поголема видливост на македонската култура, особено на творештвото на македонските жени.
