Yesterday, London showed up.

Proud of our @labrumathletic team - @iamfods @joshuajtai @alex_kosmi @petal.toes @_smxrtin @xandriazf @prolific25 - who ran and completed the @londonmarathon, and to our cheer squad that showed up in full force - @run.dem.crew @mafiamoves_ and everyone bringing that energy at mile 21…

Seeing so many of you in the LABRUM x @adidasrunning SS26 kit along the route meant everything.

Movement. Community. Connection. Always.

London half in the books❤️‍🔥
Running out in the peak heat was no joke. Got cooked by the sun ♨️🤣, had to constantly fight my inner demons, and somewhere along the way, lost my pace buddie @peigh. No PB this time, but big vibes with the crew @labrumathletic

Love to everyone who came out to cheer and of course, thanks to @adidasuk @adidasrunning for the 🔥race kit. 🖤

Man, I’m still at a loss for words — but Alhamdulilah!

My first half marathon is officially in the books. Less than a year ago, I started running just for fun, but it’s turned into so much more. Running has become my safe space — where my soul, spirit, and mind align, and my body takes the back seat as I remind myself that I’m stronger, more resilient, and more capable than I ever imagined.

Every step teaches me something new: pain is temporary, but growth lasts forever. Some days I feel like I can’t push through, but running — just like life — shows me that with the right mindset, I can overcome any challenge.

Not long ago, I was on the sidelines cheering others on. This time, I got to receive that same energy — and trust me, it was LOUD. That love carried me when I needed it most, and it meant everything.

Huge shoutout to @labrumathletic for keeping me motivated week after week, and to @adidasuk @adidasrunning for gear that made every stride feel effortless.

Today I celebrate not just finishing my first half marathon, but crossing that line in under 2 hours. This is only the beginning — many more miles to go. 💪🏾🏃🏾‍♂️

I did it. My first half marathon @officialbighalf

This all started about a year ago with @labrumathletic - @iamfods championing my ability to run, @petal.toes being the best coach I could imagine, and @joseph_strinati pinning me down in the office one random day to persuade me to sign up for the Big Half. I said “Ok, but that doesn’t mean I’ll run it.”

Since then, a number of my close peeps I really cherish kept checking in on my training and motivating me to keep going - thank you for believing in me ❤️ Day before the Big Half, @gizemfalke gave me her “you got this” bracelet from her first half, trust I looked at it multiple times throughout the run. The @labrumathletic team stuck by my side for the whole race 🫂 I couldn’t have done it without them. And hey we look great kitted in @adidasrunning @adidasuk

Silly side note - at the start line, @oliviadeano was playing, and once at the finish line, she was playing again - which felt like a sign, especially as she’s been in my ears all week.

Grateful and proud.

P.s. not sure how I’ll walk tomorrow

1 of 20 Goose

Twenty goose in the field? I must have missed the count. Could have been more. More or less is irrelevant. Their presence was the relevance. Isn’t it beautiful? How often do you witness something spectacular? Once in a lifetime? Or perhaps never? Are you just going to stand there and watch or are you going to capture this moment? It’s your choice but, I rather you choose the latter. Why the flash? Can’t you do it in silent? It was getting darker so the flash was relevant. That might be a blow! But what if one, just one of twenty ducks doesn’t mind. Like I said, just one. And she really doesn’t mind. Is this something she’s familiar with or is she just as curious? Curiosity or familiarity that moment was captured. All thanks to the one of twenty goose.
